How is the playset holding up now that it’s been up 5 years? I’m strongly considering a lifetime playset for my daughter but worried about rust. Thanks so much for your reviews!
Thanks for the info, can you please tell me how far from your fence you have the tower. They have such a huge safety zone and I’m wondering if you need that much space. Thank you
Ours is 2.5 years old and has one area that's rusted very badly. It'll need to be partially disassembled, angle grind the rust off and repainted. Several smaller spots of surface rust on various pieces as well.
We just had our lifetime play set delivered. Looking forward to constructing it this weekend. We got the monkey bar adventure set. Thanks for your review.
how heavy is the tower part? Wife just bought one of these used and I am trying to figure out the best way to relocate it with the least amount of disassembling.
Thank you for the great reviews! Watched original and this update, very informative. When building the tower, can the panels on bottom be interchanged? Can the rails on the upper part of tower be switched as well? Want slide in same place as yours but would like to get ladder closer to the slide (save space). Think ladder next to slide toward the swings (where your climbing wall is) be too close to the swing? TIA!
We just got our set today. I keep getting scared about rust so I’m happy to see your two year review. I see people say they saw rust within 8 months. Others have pictures of it after two years almost rusted off the hedges. I’m wondering if you did anything additional to keep it from rusting?
Thank you for the video. It’s one of the few I found. Love that it’s holding up well for you. I’ve seen in others that the metal between the 2 floors with the road map on top rust bad for others but couldn’t see it in your video. Just curious if that part looks as great as I the rest for you?
We just got one of these. It was 6yrs old, paid $600 for it, and it is still in incredible condition. Our girls love it so far: 9 and 12
Oh nice!

I actually moved and no longer have it!
Thank you for the review! Do you know if we could add an additional slide to the tower at all by chance?
That’s a good question! I don’t think so because then it would block the climbing wall etc.

I can't recall the exact feet- but maybe 6 from the back fence to the swing? 3ish from the pole?

That's too bad.

I'm not sure- it definitely takes 2 people to move it. Maybe check with the manufacturers' website.

They can be moved but I don't think the ladder and slide can be any closer together. Check with the manufacturer and their directions.
Thanks for the review. Has the play set kept the interest of your older children? If not at what age do you think children will outgrow it? Thanks!
It has! They like to swing or use the slide with water in the summer. I'd say around 14 their use of it ends.

No, we didn't do anything special. Although we get lots of snow we live in a low humidity area which may help?

I went and had a look and there is some rusting on the bolts but it's nothing major at all.
@@OneMamaToAnother I wonder if you could exchange that hardware for stainless steel?
Hi, do you have a sprinkler system? How does the plastic do with the irrigation water?
No, I don't have a sprinkler system.
Thank for the video Mama. How heavy is this set? I am trying to figure out how to anchor it down to the ground.
It is extremely heavy. The lightening system holds the tower part in place very well.
@@OneMamaToAnother Any issue with storms in your area like tornadoes? Thanks for the quick reply!
@@JC-vq2vv Rarely, but yes. We have high winds though. I believe it's over 500 lbs.
They sell an anchor kit.
Thanks for the update. Is it possible to switch the ladder and slide position? Ie. Swap them?
I don't think so. I know there is another place you can switch it to but not to where we have the slide.
We have it all assembled. Was able to place it in any position! Yay
Could the bar at the end be replaced with a saucer swing?
If its the two attachment type then yes. I know the company offers a number of other options that you can switch the swings and bar out with.
Did you have to anchor it to the ground or is it pretty solid?
we didn't, it's very heavy and solid.
Can I put this play set on my cement, I don’t have a big grass yard
I'm not sure because you wouldn't be able to ground it against lightning strikes.
Could this be assembled without the swings?
Yes, but without the frame for I don't think so.
How much did you pay for this? The cheapest I can find is $1, 819
The price has varied greatly over the years and it depends where you live.
