Once we were listening to them while we were having a little campfire and he was drinking a cold one. Having a good talk about life and how much he loves to listen to FFDP. Kudos to this song for getting me hooked on this band, because when I was 12 (26 now), I had heard Never Enough, but didn't really know the band and their works, but then I heard this on that episode, and I was amazed to see Never Enough by this same band. A bittersweet nostalgic feeling swells in my heart when I listen to this. To add more fuel to the fire, I never would've remembered this song again were it not for an older show I found that used to play every night in my childhood home. It brings with it memories of peace, warmth, and security. It's been over a decade since those feelings. So much tragedy and fear in my life for all of that time. It's terribly cheesy, but it really does feel so far from home.

I use to listen to this song when I was a kid. I never truly understood the meaning of it back then, but now since I've served in the military as a combat M.O.S, I clearly understand it now and it hits home every time I listen to it. This song was featured in a particularly heart-rending episode of Criminal Minds, and for that it is amazing! Kudos to this song for getting me hooked on this band, because when I was 12 (26 now), I had heard Never Enough, but didn't really know the band and their works, but then I heard this on that episode, and I was amazed to see Never Enough by this same band. Amazing band, and proof that rock and metal are'nt dead, they just got a name change to 5 finger death punch! This, Gone away and Bury me with my guns by Bobaflex are my fav's of all time! Hell yeah!

I love how a lot of their songs have to do with military! My son’s dad is a former marine and my brother is part of the army… Their songs have helped me so much to understand a fraction of what they’re going through. Hell, I feel these lyrics soooo much too.

Lost my step mom october 1st of 2012..I get its a step mom..but I wasn't aloud to see my real mom..cause of my dad..and me being 8 at the time..I called her mother..because she was aloud to be around..I can feel your pain on the same level..I just cry with this song because it was my dad and step mom's song.

A bittersweet nostalgic feeling swells in my heart when I listen to this. To add more fuel to the fire, I never would've remembered this song again were it not for an older show I found that used to play every night in my childhood home. It brings with it memories of peace, warmth, and security.
It's been over a decade since those feelings. So much tragedy and fear in my life for all of that time. It's terribly cheesy, but it really does feel so far from home.

This is one of the best songs ever written in my opinion and it saved my life one summer trying to stay clean and survive a break up with the only person I’ve ever loved and my best friend for over a decade, luckily that’s in the past and we couldn’t stay away from each other more than a year but it still feels fresh and like yesterday when it was like 5 years ago. Five finger death punch is just amazing.
