I’m near 8th and Walton and slept through it all.
We lost a family member in this storm last night. My mom just had her aunt and uncle at her house and they went home to this storm. Big tree went through the house and smashed our aunt. We still have family not spoken to yet..please pray.

This was terrifying we were woken up at 2:30 ish am and all I could hear was sirens, I was very fortunate to only have minor damage to my homes.
Same here. Praying for everyone! Is there anywhere there taking water and food? I want to drive over today and send some food, water, and essentials, etc for the people there. Are you in Rogers? Can anyone tell me where I can send water and food, etc?
@@greeneyedsoutherngirl6468 I haven’t been able to travel much cause all my roads have been cut off due to fallen trees, I believe there may be some shelters accepting food, and water donations at Walnut in Roger’s.
I was in bentonville! I’m glad that the big tree in our yard didn’t fall on the house! Power was out since 2:30 ish and it’s still out!

Horsebend state park had considerable tree damage and flipped over RV's with one injury, was reported as a broken back. I must add a thanks to the NWS for the Tornado warning to our phones, that I am sure saved lives. Approx 5 minutes warning before our RV and others were hit by incredibly strong straight line winds at around 220 am.

Fox, KNWA, and Dan Skoff all confirmed it was a tornado. Derecho winds won’t literally flatten flea markets. And i’ve seen you on other videos, with your arguments that go something like “it wasn’t a tornado because there are trees near the buildings standing” have you see confirmed, sighted tornadoes that left one house flattened or leveled and the other one being barely touched?

I guess god found a lot of gay people there. You can hidefrom your neighbors, but not from god.
I'm living in the area but I am an outsider from a different state and there are some gay people here just like anywhere else. If anything God wanted to take these people down a notch or two and show them that they are no better than anybody else. He uses storms and disasters to humble people and they really needed it here. To these people the worst thing in the world you could be is homeless. And now many of them are homeless. They have been shown that no matter who you are or how much money you have things can happen at any minute and knock them down to the same level as those who they judge. It is like when God said to not judge or you will be judged by the same measure as you have judged others or something like that. They got what they had coming. I see their houses and cars torn apart and flipped over and trees through their roofs and the looks on their faces and I laugh because I know that they are weak and to me a street person it is just like a stroll in the park just an average ordinary day. I laugh as I see the faces that used to sneer as I walked down the isles of the supermarket filling the lines for free handouts and box dinners they thought they were too good for. I see the look of desperation on their faces as they wonder where they will sleep or where their next meal will come from and how they can't believe that this can be happening to them and I smile and whistle like a bird as I walk along unbothered by the events at hand. Welcome to homelessness you weak cocksuckers.

The tornado went through my dads neighborhood and they just got debris
God has his ways of humbling those who need to be humbled. This area if full of people who think that they are so much better than those who are down on their luck and those who are homeless and now look at them. Some of them don't know where they will sleep or where their next meal will come from they are now on the same level as a homeless person but they want the respect and the sympathy that they didn't have for other homeless people. They have been shown by a higher power that they are no better than anybody else and that things can happen no matter who you are.
