That's okay we're gonna build another dynasty.. Saban started out with a team that wasn't very good and a few highly rated recruits and a bunch of hard working dedicated less highly rated recruits helped him start turning the program around and next thing we knew everyone wanted to come here.. the players that are visiting this weekend are huge and probably better than some that we lost

Hey, I am a Tennessee Vols fan. We went through hell with coaches, players leaving, etc. since late 2000s. Hard to feel bad for Alabama from that point of view. Honestly, it might be healthy for the state of Alabama to be able to not focus as much on Football and the insanity around it. Football, in the scheme of things, is really not that important. I think Alabama is in a situation where the culture that Saban built is completely gone. Yes, he won multiple titles and Alabama is still a top school. Alabama is the second winning team in NCAA history. Mich is only ahead because they started 13 years earlier and played 10 games when we were still playing 6. Didn't have quite the exact same level of success as Saban, but when Stoops left, it took a money chasing coach for us to finally realize what you eventually will. You have to build it back up again like everyone else. Maintaining it just because you're Bama ain't going to happen. Saban was the key, not Alabama.

Hey, I am a Tennessee Vols fan. We went through hell with coaches, players leaving, etc. since late 2000s. Hard to feel bad for Alabama from that point of view. Honestly, it might be healthy for the state of Alabama to be able to not focus as much on Football and the insanity around it. Football, in the scheme of things, is really not that important. There are a lot of other things in life that is more important. Being snowed in, hasn't been fun though and I was sick as well.

Alabama is the second winning team in NCAA history. Mich is only ahead because they started 13 years earlier and played 10 games when we were still playing 6. You cannot discount that fact just by looking at the last 17 years. Everybody is going to have a spell of losing, but we have the facilities and pieces in place to continue to win at a high level. DeBoer beat a great Texas team this year with far less talent than our 4/5 star roster had.
