I went single rider once and was with a family that didn't speak English and didn't understand that it was interactive. They just sat there the whole time while I'm frantically hitting all the buttons. It was a rough ride for sure but still fun
FreshBaked, David I have heard where a whole group of friends don't touch anything at all on " Smugglers Run" and enjoy the "ride" just as much as those who hit every button. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Hi Fresh Baked - love your work and videos! Doesn't the speed of your clicks impact the score at your station? I think those points translate over to your digital Play Disney app.
Thank you for the fun video Dave. Quick question, I have autistic children who very much want to see Galaxies Edge and ride Smugglers Run among other things but they are nervous about having to have a responsibility on the ride. What happens if they just sit there and watch and enjoy without interacting? Thank you.
I would suggest talking to one of the cast members. I think there is an option for the ride to be completely on auto pilot. So you can just sit back and watch the ride.
Agree... my time time at Disneyland pre pandemic I did single rider and the group I joined one ride was going on after about how you did not do t our part right with in their group looking for the perfect result ... when a day at the park should be about having fun
My wife and I were just talking the other day about how Smuggler’s Run works if you have lest then 6 people. We are a family of 6, so when we go on, we fill up all the seats. Can you sit in any seat on the ride? Thanks for the video.
I find it funny when i see an adult guest arguing with a ride operator about wanting to be a pilot cause they got either gunner or engineer. It's just a freaken ride folks lol
I went on this ride for the first time last week and im sad to say it was a bit boring. Similar to Star Tours in away but Star Tours is miles better :( Rise of the Resistance on the other hand was Amazing ☺🌼!
Kind of ridiculous that they can't have 1 or 2 more people in there with you. If another person were seated in the opposite end of the cabin you would still be 6' apart, and with your masks on.

😂😂
I see what you did there, David! SOLO!
I’m very relieved. I just want to enjoy the ride with my friends without needing to participate. Thank you for confirming this 😌
FUN! Kind of like putting EVERYTHING on Kamchatka in the game of Risk!

I enjoyed piloting the Millenium Falcon solo opening weekend! It was a blast.
How cool is that!!! To say you piloted the Millennium Falcon, SOLO!!
But he didn't piolet it......
@@1ROCKET- I piloted it solo a few weeks ago lol
Can’t wait until they bring back the pre-show!
Did this ride last week boy I never had motion sickness like this ride no more
I was waiting for chewie mode
Woo hoo! That was cool!!!
Lol, Solo’s autopilot flies better than any “Rando” Calrissian.
👏👏
That looked like my experience on that ride with my niece when we were up front. LOL.....we survived, but barely!

Wow! I’m looking forward to riding this when I go June 15 throws the 19.
Outstanding!

Just ask for the cast member to put their positions on auto-pilot. We've done this before with our grandson who felt too much pressure to perform.

It went Autopilot....cool....
I went in this with just my parents once and we had 2 gunners and an engineer, so no pilots and it was so much fun!
So he rode the Falcon Han style!! :D :D :D
I did it twice solo and did better the first time compared to the second. 😂
Fresh baked!
Missed opportunity for the ride to play the Han Solo song from Kinect Star Wars.
Hey Fresh Baked!!
The max that you can get in the ride is 2 containers
The best ride exit. Right out of the exhaust port.
Is it an exhaust port? I thought it was a sewer
@@1ROCKET- typical trash panda. 🦝
Solo! That's punny.
Haha.that just proves we do not need to be there at all.

Any seat
Hi David!
nice
You end up the Navagator because no one wants to give up the pilots seats or the gunners seat.
Lol! That was great.

Hi David
First!
Your joking right? I’ve never been on the ride and could of told you that just from the videos I’ve watched.
