Port Ollisar was the place that many of us long time backers began our journeys in the Verse. Though TBH, I have to admit my initial home in the Verse was the old Hangar module that has also been taken from us. If CIG is going to destroy PO, I'd hope that they would host a live in game event of it being attacked and destroyed, while we players do our best to defend it but lose. I'd call that a suitable send off to the station that helped start so many journeys.

@theBackSpacer does such great work, a fantastic tribute to P.O. and to the memories we all have, both OGs and Newbies. Thanks BackSpaced and thanks DG.
(AFK have a short video out: The Short Cut. Just thought I would mention it 😁)

Took me right back to me very first time in the verse... The magic and wonder of Crusader hanging in space above my head, that Cutty ramp coming down the very first time. The rings I flew right into the first time I tried to fly after they implemented the new flight model... My first Caterpillar full of Widow from JT. First weapons and armor I ever bought... It's only been five years for me, but it's been pure magic. And it all started right there, at Oli.

Such a touching requiem to a nostalgic place that I felt emotional when I stood on the landing pad and saw Crusader in 2016. I then took my ship and flew slowly to the planet like the sound of this music and went boom. How easy the players these days have it, for they can experience the song all the way to the core before going boom.

So many memories in Port Olisar... some orgs pay tribute to one of their own who passed away and gathered on Port Olisar and even share their videos, moments with them on this station.

If PO was a friend, for his final days, I'd take him for a nice stroll along the water's edge, and wave farewell, as he 'accidentally' falls off a cliff and drowns in the cold rocky depths below. Then I'd go see my much cooler friend, I just met, and we'd sit there laughing about how useless PO was, while sipping our beers.
