For what i remember Zagreus in greek mythology has like 3 or more version of is myth? Still i think that the way they acknowledge all of the myths, (the Orphic one, the son of Zeus one, the ingame canon one from Aeschylus) it's both amazing and hilarious
i love the idea of a final push area that's timed. maybe you can drink the ambrosia or nectar to give extra time, at the cost of not being able to use it foe buffs and power ups.

Afrostorian I think it's mainly because of how experienced the production/development team already are with similar games. Much more room for extra content that isn't just new rooms or enemy variants

Somehow even after completing the epilogue and every one else's bonds I still haven't unlocked hypnos' friendship. I've been saving ambrosia but he will just will not take it the bastard UPDATE: Literally like 2 days after this I unlocked it. Everyone's buds with me now
That one was probably the last I got, as it requires scenes with Thanatos and he does not want to show up half the time. Might also require you to buy him a nicer seat, but not sure 😄

She’s not an Olympian god, she isn’t related by blood to Zeus and co. or even Kronos and Rhea (as far as I know). She’s purely a Chthonic deity. Meaning she’s from the Underworld. Many primordial beings fall under this category. And so do Hades and Persephone. She’s no Nyx (or Thanatos; they’re also Chthonic), but she’s still an immortal being with rule of something (furies; being the first makes her the boss), which makes her a god in this pantheon.
I love how they acknowledge the, VERY conflicting origins of Zagreus in a sappy song by Orpheus.
The fun fact is that Zagreus made his origin story convoluted himself because he sold all those lies to him

I'm hoping for a DLC that does that, or maybe even a sequel that has you climbing up Mount Olympus.

I found some hades dialogue on tumblr that can happen with the champion and the Minotaur if you buy a ball of yarn and possess it when you meet them

Haha! That is a great observation 😄 I am not too familiar with the origins of Zag, but the way they have used the source material this is very likely.
