Darn. Was hoping to get to see Sam Heughan in a kilt. Scotland is beautiful but I still wish they were filming in North Carolina. I know, it's probably too expensive, but doesn't change my feelings about it.

Outlandish Journeys I wasn't too surprised by no Sam. The casual fan will not have read the books and not know that he starts wearing a kilt again. It is a little bit of a spoiler if we saw him wearing one now.

Why they chose to film North Carolina in Scotland, I’ll never know. It is always raining an cold!
Lol! Yes, Scottish weather can be a challenge, but think it's more for convenience, as the studios are based in Scotland...in fact this particular scene was shot literally across the road from the main studio. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more uploads!

Think its probably due to the fact that the studios are based over here in Scotland, Georgene. :)
I love they’re in Scotland so much more romantic that way. It being set in Scotland about Scot’s is the right way to go. Also make the filming because of weather conditions much more authentic.

I was thinking more about when she arrives, not becomes a bigger character. Her dad, Tom Christie arrives at Fraser's Ridge while Jamie is recovering from the snake bite. That's near the end of Fiery Cross.
Oh ok. It's been awhile since I have read Fiery Cross so I forgot about that.
That was the German fsmily scene where Claire goes to deliver their baby.
