I respect your opinion, as these videos are kinda low effort. They are basically telecast compilations, and as the series progressed it just got worse. This series has its flaws (such as using low quality footage of 1987, 1988 (although for 1988 it's understandable as it's incomplete) and 1992. He also forgets stuff such as Aviator Snoopy, Snoopy on Skates and Winter Snoopy and Woodstock's appearances at the Elgeston parade and forgetting Superman's 1981 appearance and going straight for 1983.
It's confirmed, the Elf on the Shelf balloon has retired after making 9 appearances, the Trolls balloon has retired after making 5 appearances and the 4th version of the Ronald McDonald balloon has retired after making 6 appearances. It's unknown if Macy's is going making a 5th version of Ronald McDonald or not.
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think the sound effects were a good idea. They sound cute, but they can get irritating after hearing them over an over. Plus, think about how loud they must have had to be in order to be heard over the noise of the crowds and bands. Imagine how the balloon handlers felt about hearing those sounds all throughout their walk in the parade instead of just one time pass by like the spectators get.
