Great question my friend, not really, leader of the party gets the progress, unless he is not in the task, so each kill basically will give a person 1 kill for progress, however after the dynamic spawn rate update introduce recently, the more people in the party the faster the monster will respawn so everyone can finish their tasks faster!!
