people think Mafioso is the most useless role but toast straight up carried the last game
Mafioso is lowkey the most important role. Because the entire time the godfather is killing, they can be marinating people since they can’t kill yet. It’s almost as if when The Godfather dies, the game restarts because they have 0 info on who the imposter is
Right? It's so cool that Toast did just as much killing as Hafu. 😂 Mafioso is obviously a role Toast shines in because of his silver tongue. Not only does he have to bring his crewmates subtly out of sus, he also has to throw sus on someone cleanly so he doesn't seem sus himself. Such a fun video to watch.

They should’ve changed up the roles for Godfather and mafioso. The Godfather doesn’t need to get his hands dirty. So he should be the one ordering hits. So his ability is to tag people for a hit. The mafiosos should be the one looking for the tagged individual and kill them. Only when the mafioso should the killing job go to the godfather. The cleaner is fine where they are at. That way it gives something to do for everyone instead of the mafioso waiting for the godfather to die.
That would be interesting to watch but I feel mafioso would get caught second kill no? Cause they'll be like yo why do you keep following so and so then they die

Mafioso isn't 'waiting for the godfather to die'. With good teamwork, it actually turns out to be a good combo.
It’s an interesting thought, and I would love a version like that. But the job of mafioso in this is to be smooth talker. They have no killing to do, therefore they can stick with crew mates, gain trust, then when the time is right they get to kill. And it also makes them a another vote for the mafia.

Agree. Toast is the best person for the mafia role honestly. His ability to marinate the whole lobby while keeping his hands clean from any blood is what mafioso all about. His specialty is to kill people on meeting.

Yeah the scary thing is that crew can’t sus him on actions because he literally isn’t able to kill, so with his ability to convince others it’s nearly impossible to find him out as Mafioso unless he makes an error and tries to defend too hard.

@@az456az Yes, but he didn't stay at the vent, he double backed at it right at the moment he left cams, meaning that the sus is changed, because accusing somebody from venting with false information is not a good sus, she even said she was at cams even though she wasn't.

I watched it from sleepy's pov, and he kept saying "5head, big brain" to his chat when he heard the way toast flipped the initial sus on him back onto hafu by highliting the fact that hafu did change her story.

It's funny but Hafu gave him all of the ammunition he needed - she actually said she went through the cameras... if I was crew I'd do the same thing as Toast did Mafioso.
Hafu seems way more frantic now than she did in the beginning. Her demeanor was always calm, now she sounds like she's panicking whenever she argues.

It looks like there might be a mafioso glitch. Everytime Toast closes the map out, for a split frame he has the kill button before it disappears. I'm curious if you can close the map while spamming Q and kill as a mafioso. 🤔

Mafioso help you get majority with vote and help make an alibi for your mafia. It's too strong to be honest with this line up. If they have 15-20 crew then i will agree with this 3 mafia line up

I think mafioso should be able to sabotage and takes the abilities of the caught mafia members. For example if both janitor and godfather die, the mafioso can clean and kill
Let’s be honest though, they mafia almost always wins so why buff them? Being an extra impostor is basically enough to make it op since a “3rd impostor” in a normal game usually ends up in a loss and the imps need to kill 6 in that one

no, I don't think she did. i dont watch live this particular stream but i often watch her on twitch so i understand whats shes talking about. i'm gonna try clear things up... (this just from the video btw lol)
she argue that she was in cams, then, o2 then she go back to cams again through the hallway (why return ? idk) where she find toast, with her crewmate vision, crawling downward from the top left corner, instantly meeting got called. theres a vent there and no wires task. no crewmate should come from that area. she put 2 on 2 together (from her perspective), "toast come out of a vent". theres no other conclusion from those clue that she have ; other than toast just trolling by doing what sykunno did imo.
she depict literally all of her round, from start to finish, she did this because she dont want other crew to sus her. objectively strong story IF there were time stamp for the situation so that the other crew sure that it was possible, otherwise ? than the argument became ambiguous and imposter can easily manipulate its narrative. toast is a good impostor, master of manipulation kinda impostor, he know that her story are fragile so he poke hole through it ... in the end of the meeting toast manage to win almost the entire crew members, except 5up, why ? cus he really understand how two of the story play out. 5up know how hafu speaks, they play among us together every day on their own lobby.

from what i know, they have 0.25 vision. toast did come from the vent area, which made him look sus. but toast won it because of the way he talked and that he didn't actually vent at all - hafu lied just to vote him out.

after the success of adapting the Jester role Otto should put the "Medium" and "Jailer" role too.
1. Jailer - its a crewmate that can put someone suspicious on isolation for one round instead of ejecting them to avoid Jester solo win. Add a small jail room with vent and CCTV, the isolated player can't interact with another player when they are in jail. It helps to prove your innocence if you are a crew but if you are the impostor you can use the vent but beware because someone might watching on cams.
2. Medium - its a crewmate with thirdeye.
adding more roles will prevent boredom to crewmates it requires alot of work but i think its worth it.
I think adding the cams there would make it too hard for the imposter though.
Medium should be able to see ghosts roaming around, alongside being able to read dead chat in meetings

I feel like this could be more exciting if the mafioso is technically crewmate, meaning the win with crewmates, until the godfather gets voted out. Then they become the godfather. But they dont know who the godfather is until they get ‘promoted.’ So they kind of switch sides midgame.
For sure, having the mafioso vote makes impostors have way too much voting power + game ends at 6 ppl
Well mafioso is supposed to enable alibis. I think 1-2 people more would make it better.
I think it would make it better if the godfather could only kill and mafioso can call sabotage. If godfather dies they swap
@@mansurahmed9065 You also only have one imposter who can kill at any given time, so double kills and the like are no longer possible, eliminating many of the easiest win strategies from the game. If you see people traveling in groups regularly now it's also much more obvious they are imposters. There's lots of ways a good crewmate could easily foil this, but trading killing by voting power for direct killing / double killing power seems fair to me.

No idea why anyone would say that in this mod. So many ways to have a bunch of lies or misleading circumstances 'clearing' you, so you never REALLY can. Even scan vouches don't matter. I think the Sheriff was a more fun role.

It's cuz the lobby usually clears each other like that all of the time. They just used it against the crewmates. Not that it mattered cuz Hafu almost lost them the game by clearing him like that. xD Toast had to steer away from Hafu so that they wouldn't vote her cuz she said that. xD

@@Banned4Life because hafu said toast scanned. Only sleepy trusted that toast was 100% cleared. The rest of them did doubt it (not 100% believe it) but because they had no info to go on, they just bought it since it was so bold to lie like that. The main reason was because they had no info to counter toast and hafu's claim so they just went with it. Especially because toast and hafu also had no sus on themselves.

Damn Toast straight up murked Hafu during that janitor game. Talked his way outta that sticky situation AND got her voted out instead. Wasted 5up's and Nogla's button. Still got the W. Unreal.
Toast is the best meetings. He can out debate anyone even hafu and 5up. Even after 4 meetings he still managed to not get voted out. 4 meetings from bakbak (reporting a body), hafu, 5up, and nogla. That game was too sweaty tho. Fundy already buttoned first round when no one was dead so it reset the cooldowns for godfather and janitor. Then they called meetings 3 times in a row, so it reset toast's and punz's cooldown 4 times in a row. Even punz sounded salty when he said "I love the button game guys." I watched his pov, and he was indeed a little salty because each time his kill cooldown was finally ready to use, someone buttoned so he had to wait for another 20 seconds to be able to kill. 5 times in total punz and toast had to wait for their kill or sweep cooldown and couldn't anything.
Exactly! He also convinced 5up, an S-tier player, to live up to their 50-50 choice. He's unreal. In this kind of lobby, we can really see that Toast is an omega level Among Us player. If he is on his usual OTV & Friends lobby, he will most likely get voted out immediately for the reason that he's Toast.
To be fair though he didn't vent lol.

Its interesting cause this is a harder lobby in skill, but Toast gets away with a lot more because they just use logic and are all pretty big brain. Toast seems to lose more in OTV and friends lobby because they are more scared of getting big brained and are more emotional voters, and there is also a lot of simping that just doesnt follow logic.
Exactly. In average, people in this lobby and hafu's lobby are more skilled than people in toast's lobby. But because most of the people in toast's lobby have somewhat of a bias against him, he tends to get sussed out or worse voted out on such small thing or even out of nothing. As impostor, he has to have an airtight alibi to not get voted out but then it's impossible to make any kill.
Also people in toast's lobby like to group up. So it's way harder to make clean kill. It's something poki famously likes to complain whenever she loses as impostor but likes to do when she's crewmate. Grouping consists of 2 people is pretty understandable but when you group with 3 people or more, it's just impossible for impostors. Especially when they know for certain that there's only 1 impostor left, but a lot of crewmates (4 to 9 crewmates) are still alive, grouping makes it impossible for the solo impostor to clutch it out. I mean impostors' win rate in toast's lobby is much lower than in hafu's lobby that's for sure.

I just love how charismatic Toast is in lobbies, everyone stops to listen to it carefully with full attention.
He's also treated like that back then on his first month of playing Among Us with his usual OTV&Friends lobby. Now they are so traumatized and will most likely vote him out for the reason that he's Toast :D

@@Lucio20 Some of them never play with hafu before. Most of them rarely play with her. So ofc they didn't believe her just because "She usually doesn't do that." Only 5up knows how hafu usually plays that's why 5up was the only one who immediately bought her story.
3 things that made everyone hesitant to believe her:
1. She did change her story. She first said she came from cams but later changed her story and said she walked from the hallway after toast said she wasn't at cams and asked punz whether or not he saw hafu in the hallway. Toast exploited that. He highlighted it as "an impostor thing to do", because changing your story is indeed such an impostor thing to do.
2. Toast asked punz to back him up and punz slowly but surely backed toast's claim. Impostor usually never asks their impostor partner to back them up when someone hard accusing because then people will sus both of you, so usually 2 impostors never back each other up in a hard accused). Punz also didn't defend toast right away so it felt like punz and toast wasn't at the same team but just had the same story.
3. Toast didn't lie. The reasons why he sounded so believable were because first, he is good at lying and second, he was telling the truth. He didn't vent, he was on cams, and hafu did come from O2 and not cams. So when hafu said she came from cams and toast got so confused, it was a genuine reaction from him.
