Just watching this August of 2020. Wow, how your delivery has loosened up (and that's a good thing). This tree stamp is really pretty for its detail. I think six layers of paper (tree, extra white cardstock behind tree card, embossed ocean-colored sheet, another white flat card, Christmas pine sheet, the "window" -- that's already six layers and then there would have to be the back of the folded card for a seventh layer. I'd almost have to add a flat white sheet inside the Christmas pine. For one thing, the back of the card would need the weight. For another, it's hard to write on pine green. But it IS a gorgeous card.
What a stunner! Love the colors, too. I'm usually torn between my love of aqua tones for Christmas cards versus traditional colors; you've given me a way to use both with the bonus of glitter and Wink of Stella.
Great card. I think I would have done one extra step to it and added a piece of acetate behind the window frame die cut to make it look like a real window with glass. Thanks for sharing Gina.
I'm a glitter seller so I know the pain of glitter being everywhere, I use a lint roller to clean up my area. I am definitely going to try making this card. Thank you for sharing
I really like your Christmas window card and I like how you made the outdoor Christmas tree look like it had Christmas crystal lights on the tree and I like how you showed us how to put on dry embossing powder on the Christmas tree and how to use a embossing heater to make the embossing powder to start puffing up and how to tell when it is time to stop embossing before you burn it. Thank you for sharing a video on making a card for Christmas with a window looking out at a beautiful Christmas tree sitting outside in the snow!! l share this card on pinterest under the name beeone3 and under the title name "Christmas card. But I would like to say is Thank you for sharing with us some it of your creative!! 😉 I hope you have a great day and I enjoy watching you make a beautiful Christmas card and thanks again for doing a video on how to make it. 🎆 Delama Starling 👾
Debbie- try adding another piece of card stock until it feels snug enough to put pressure on when you roll it through. Sometimes you have to do that if your plates are warped.
Was going to buy everything I needed to make this card today, but as I can't get the Xmas tree ( still out of stock) it's not worth getting anything else. Thank you for showing me how to make it though, I'll just have to use something else.
I love this card. I ordered the window die and received it today. I am using my cuttlebug to cut it and it is not cutting. I am using A plate and 2 B plates with added cardstock and cardboard and it will not cut. Any suggestions? TIA
Hi Gina! I am a huge fan of your cards and have used many of your ideas when making my cards. I went to ginakdesigns.com to purchase the window die but it's saying that it's out-of-stock. Do you know when this might be available? I love this card and would really like to be able to purchase this die. Or can I purchase this somewhere else? Thanks!
Beverly, the 3 measurements given are the only ones you definitely need to follow for those pieces. The rest depend on your supplies. For instance, the scrap for the window just has to be bigger than your window die. So, the window die she used is 4-1/8" x 2-5/8", therefore her cardstock to cut that would have to be larger, though not so large as to not fit through the die cutting machine. Hope this helps! You can order the exact supplies she uses at her store: www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/main.sc.

You need to use a C (for cutting) plate with a B plate and the A plate when you cut a die in the Cuttlebug.
will you be getting any more of the winter cheer kits in?
Hi Gina! I am a huge fan of your cards and have used many of your ideas when making my cards. I went to ginakdesigns.com to purchase the window die but it's saying that it's out-of-stock.
