Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Safe Class object, Grammie Knows SCP-517 Animation.
SCP 517 is a fortune-telling machine containing a mechanical puppet and an electric candle within a glass and wooden case. On the top panels the words "Grandmother Predictions" are painted. The puppet within SCP517 is in the shape of an elderly woman, with a white blouse and a blue shawl. The individual who "activated" SCP-517 will become the target of an entity or number of entities who will attack at 1:43 AM local time the following morning.

I'm willing to bet the reason Grandma's so hostile is because her cord's been cut, and she was abandoned for presumably a long time. Maybe she was a anomalous fortune teller that could correctly predict the future every time, but somebody was angered by a bad fate she gave, so they cut the cord and doomed her to abandonment, until pure anger gave her a new anomalous ability. I think the foundation should try fixing or replacing her cord and reconnecting it to something, just to see what would happen, just like they should've given the Waldo SCP his glasses back when they found them.
I don't like very many comments, but I like this quite a bit.
I don't know, fixing it may make things MUCH worse, it may spit out multiple cards, dooming dozens of cursed people in the course of a day. The only reason it's going after one or two, may be because it's only got so much power, in a twenty-four hour period! Sometimes it kills more, but, that's in conjunction with it going after the person originally targeted! The Doctor at the end who successfully fought off the grabbing arms, may have been using another anomalous item, which counteracts the old woman automaton, keeping it in check, with the spilling of blood, perhaps used in the Mayan or even Toltec civilizations sacrificial ceremonies! If you use the knife for anything, you must shed human blood, before you put it away! If you've simply GOTTA move this thing, use a preprogrammed robot drone, to do so, and, clear the halls of ANYONE, who could possibly catch sight of it, or, vice versa! If it spits out a card, DO NOT PICK IT UP, torch it from a distance, again with robot drones!

The grandma's origin story has her as the unseen and mysterious ruler of an abandoned city actually, and in it a trader argues with her about her prices so she beats the shit outta him, and when he leaves and turns around to cuss her out one last time he gets slapped in the face before being told to do good for his community

These are my favorite kinds of entries.
I honestly feel bad for some of these people in the story segments, especially the woman in this first bit. She definitely didn’t deserve the horrific things this unassuming relic of entertainment’s past did to her, or really anyone.
I feel bad for the mom most of all. First she lost a daughter to a traffic accident, then she finds the pulverized remains of her other daughter after following her blood streaked drag marks.
It is implied that her sister's death was her fault and she didn't got justice for it. Still a brutal and unethenical punishment, but that's always true for death penalty anyways.

12:30 I'm starting to suspect my hypothesis that Dr. Bob is a successful Dr. Clef clone was accurate.
From later episodes, he could be an O5 member. His anomalous ability could be able to evade any scp, even ones like this one where escape is impossible.
He is SCP 6969 object class safe anomaly that mainly partakes in the act of converting files into audible file which will then be animated by staff at the foundation to debrief any researchers but some have been leaked these have been expunged from all public servers that they are on and they have not been approved to be able to watch this has been administered and are no longer able to view it but those who are allowed have been administered amnestics and are allowed to watch these at their leisure
Favorite Dr. Bob video. That perfectly cut scream of the researcher being yanked into the roof vent was hilarious and well done. As was the hand popping out of nowhere to remove the agent's knife. And this is one of the older ones. Bravo.

Yeah, and every new victim, keeps the ball rolling, so to speak! The only real way that appears to work, is NOT to take a card,, or, allow it to focus on you! Also, if you can decimate arms faster than they can be generated, they will give up! This thing seems customer made for a thorough nuclear cleansing treatment, I'd say! Or, send it to the small town with The Flesh That Hates, see if that has ANY affect in it!?
I think it is either stated or implied that the DNA from the hands is identical in each one, so not possible. Also, it would be easy to nullify the SCP then, by putting D-class agaisnt it and destroying the hands when they appear. Destroying three hands each time would be enough to make a gain already, and it's very easy to just kill hundreds if you're prepared.

I feel so bad for our starting protag. This feels like a case where she was being eaten up by the guilt of what happened (survivor's guilt, as it did not look like she crashed on purpose or was doing anything wrong; accidents sometimes happen) so the fortune teller fed on that guilt and grief. She didn't deserve to be punished for an accident.

Maybe traveling to different time zone will save a person targeted by the -1's. As it's only local time that activates the effect, move from time zone to time zone to avoid 1:43am. Expensive and tiring thing to do but you'll live.
