I was watching another team during the race and tuning in every so often to just see Jimmy pissing around with his green-screen and camera zoom was a highlight for sure.

18:16 uhhh I felt those Singapur 2008 vibes...
I drove P2 in bottom split, which happened to be *only* P2s. Our first driver got punted on the first lap, a lot of repairs later we were 40th. We had quite a few pushbacks into the top10 and then crashes again, including one random engine failure which took 30mins to repair. For some reason resetting the car by towing or swapping drivers fixes all the damage after the repairs so we had a brand new car doing really fast laps even though we had more than an hour of repairs in total due to all the crashing.
We finished P14 and all of us gained IR and SR ;)
I'm just here waiting for Lithium Fox to come say this makes sense and the iR damage model is good.
But in all seriousness I was on this video to grab evidence on what makes it, particularly the ODM, garbage.

@moi paslui GT3, GTE, and LMP1/2 are all ODM. GT4 and GT1 are the only GT cars on it iirc.

Owen Caryl here (The slower car) From my POV, jimmy was aiming to boost to the right hand side, and positioned his car there, so I held the left to allow him to go through. Suddenly Jimmy re-directs his car to the left, and had started using the hybrid. Which by that point, it was too late for me to continue on my line :) Hoped this helped!

We tried the exact same with our LMP2, but even after crashing it again to try and get a fix, it still would not fix it, so we had to retire.
This title has aged well since the Silverstone GP.

random floor damage and then that fact iRacing refused to repair damage, really prevented Jimmy with his team, having another amazing result at Le Mans 24h. Though I always wonder why the hell there is random floor damage bug?

In some cars, that's how the gears are designed to work. You can pre-select by pushing on the paddle, then when you blip with your foot, the gears change.
I'm not sure how this car works, but the theory is that (in real life) you can push on the gear selector of a sequential gearbox and then the instant the gears in the transmission stop binding (from accelerating or decelerating) there is nothing to stop it popping into the next gear. When you blip on a downshift, you are putting the transmission into an unloaded state for a very short time(removing engine braking).
Spins 3 times in the first lap... overshoots braking... rear ends cars.... lucky he doesn't do that in the Praga...

Crashing on purpose saved our race too. Whe spun out on the gravel outside the final turn and spun into the pit wall. The steering was bent but we only got 22 seconds of optional repairs in which the bodywork was repaired but the steering stayed bent. We were about to give up but one of us had the idea the just drive it into the wall again, so i turned hard left in the pits and towed again. Then we got a long repair instead and the steering was fixed. I guess iRacing didn't feel like the steering was broken enough the first time around. This needs to be patched!!
