I think the reason they just did it with the 2 of them is they're both independent artists. Also, TM brought up that they're white men. White men are being so put down anymore. I believe they're very much both into inclusion. They're mostly worried about all the governments involvement and silence.
They are also best friends now. If you don't know the story, Adam did not like Tom at first and said he would never do a collaboration with him. Tom called him and after hollering at each other for a few they walked away as friends and did an album together.
One Tom's best buds is Dax. 😂

I think his whining about the lack of diversity is dead wrong. This song is about fighting that forced inclusion woke bullshit. It would undermine the entire point. The song doesn't need diversity or to meet a fucking quota. They've got enough woke in them to not fully comprehend the point. A little historical context. Britain was the first country in the world to pass a Slavery Abolition Act. Long before that, the Royal Navy had embargoed and blockaded every nation involved in the slave trade, America included. If the Royal Navy caught a slave ship anywhere in the world, it's slaves were freed, the crew executed and the ship sunk. It was thirty years later that the US abolished slavery. George Washington was a very enthusiastic slave owner too by the way. Just saying so you don't get carried away with American exceptionalism. As you say, all countries have a dark side.
Stop repeating that lie that we specifically had a civil war to free the slaves. Lincoln flat out said that "If I could keep slavery and preserve the Union, I would". Further illustrated that it took well into the war to issue the Emancipation that ONLY freed slaves in "States in open rebellion". There were still slaves in Union and Border states until the ratification of the 13th Amendment (6 months after "Juneteenth that they're now claiming was the end of all slavery in America; another blatant lie). Those are the facts.

The point should be to get people to think for themselves and not swear blind allegiance to a country they were, by chance, born in. If you were born in North Korea, it's likely you'd be cheering on their nuclear programme. EXCEPT....his latest song flat out says that Republicans make more sense and the left is represented by criminals and communists. Tom isn't a Conservative, but he has a lot of Republican values. And the reality is that today, most Republicans aren't hardcore Conservative and don't give 2 shits if gays get married or if weed is legal. Today's average Republican is pretty centrist. He may be technically Independent politically, but he sure leans right pretty heavily these days.

This is their video, the filming done by Tom's family and editing by his girlfriend, Nova. Both have done music with other people of different persuations and races. Not every video has to include everyone, but the message does include everyone.

I think tom is an anarchist without adjectives in a way, but ill also say the "violence angle" is a call to arms for veterans really. Do you know that in California they are trying to pass a law that criminalizes parents who speak out at school board meetings. If they cause a disruption, they're going to be prosecuted. The bill does not clarify what a disruption is. If I make a point that energize the other parents, they can send me to jail.

Tom is very inclusive. In his video "Snowflakes" he features Blair White, a transgender woman. He doesn't have a problem with people of any type - he has a problem with being forced to speak or believe a certain way. He doesn't appear to be especially right or left, but seems to lean more independent/libertarian/classical liberal. These days, though, that is often called "far right" for what it's worth...
Govt and the parties are what are killing us from the inside. Term Limits on congress, all congress and the POTUS having their financials as open records and/or making it illegal for anyone in congress to have any income other than their govt salary, a mandated 3rd "primary party" cause lets face it, we rarely hear from anyone but the 2 sides, if they let others have a voice at all. I think those 3 things would make MASSIVE differences for us all. But congress would have to make the rules against their own interests, they will never do it. Sad but true.
Putting a bunch of people in it would complicate it. They forgot one race or one sexual orientation and people would complain. It’s to the point. Maybe the military tanks, etc, is symbolic. It’s gone woke and they want it to go back to it’s patriotic glory?

I got into a weird argument with a group of 3 guys who were at our local gay pride parade....they were protesting with their religious signs, but somehow we got onto the topic of nuclear weapons. These guys ages ranged, I guess, from 35 to 55. When I made the comment, "just remember, the US is the only country to use nuclear weapons" they reacted so strongly. They said I was a liberal liar and that I didn't know what I was talking about. They said he must have failed school and that I didn't know history. So, I asked them to know other countries that used nuclear weapons...they listed many. Of course they were wrong.

When we talk about when "Certain people were under the thumb" why do we never mention how they got out of form under it? This genre of rap is meant to be overly aggressive. I don't know any rapper or artist of any kind that wouldn't say some aggressive, or extremely violent stuff on a beat like this. Cause I'll tell you what, I've written songs in the past, and the beat does heavily influence what I write about myself. As soon as I heard this beat drop and got to ride with it for a while my brain started coming up with bars and shit that was even more aggressive than Adam's and I'm not even that much of a violent person at heart. I just have this whatever in my soul that will NOT let me stand idly by while aggression and violence are present, my chest starts to ache and my head starts to pound, and next thing I know I am the most violent and ruthless person you will ever meet, and it's all in an attempt to get rid of the violence and aggression I was just watching happen. Shit is very wild, and it makes no sense even to myself that I fight violence and aggression with just a metric assload of more violence and aggression.
