What happened is the SEC are still getting top end talent, but now guys are not going to sit on the bench and wait their turn. They are going to leave for money and playing time.
Absolute truth … all leaking out now. The SEC can be proud of their teams cheating at an unprecedented level that resulted in unprecedented success for 18 to 20 years.
This guy said the SEC has better depth than the Big Ten. If that's true, how come the Big Ten was five and one against the SEC in the bowl games? This year.
And last year it was flipped with the SEC teams beating the B1G. 1 year doesn’t show anything. Let’s look at the last 10 years. Anyone can have a good year. How about 5 good years consistently?
I fully expect both the B1G10 and SEC to have winning seasons going forward. It won’t be the SEC every year nor will it be the B1G10 every year. (btw, it’s never been the same conference every year in recent history)
Injuries, opt outs, transfer portal, NIL, Big Ten cheating, officials deliberately ignoring calls against Big Ten teams, cold weather in Columbus, downpours in Tampa, Illinois pushing defensive substitutions rule to limit, USC playing Texas A and M much closer to USC campus. Those are just a few of the things that losers in the Silly Excuses Conference (SEC) are whining about.
@@jansonroberts2616 the top of both conferences are going to alternate winning here on out. SEC is no longer top to bottom better. The days of hypothetical SEC wins all games is over.

It isn't just money. After a college player is a sophomore, they realize how the college athletics business works and the transfer portal allows them to take advantage of that knowledge.
Even if they did, if they choose to play for the big ten, then that makes the Big Ten The best, because that's where they chose to play. I really don't understand your point.
The SEC has made 18 consecutive national championship appearances. The B1G has only done it twice. Until they do it 17 more times the SEC is still the best.
@ It wasn't a joke? Let's call it a stupid question. I would include the two teams from the CFP last year, and the 2 besides OSU that were in the final 8 this year. Safe bet that one of those will win in the next 6 years.
This is all stupid. OhSt has been legit as a title contender since the mid 90’s. Michigan is Michigan. USC is a blue blood that is a coach away from competing. Oregon was playing for titles a decade before joining the BIG Michigan winning the title last year is the only outlier here. Nothing to see here boys. Move on. The SEC is just fine.
This is an absolute joke. Every time the Big10 has a good season, it's the same crap that they are passing the SEC as the best conference. Look at the track record of the last 20 plus years. SEC puts more players in the NFL more SEC players are drafted in the 1 rounds of the draft. The production of SEC players in the NFL is better. Not to mention, the number of Nattys won over the last 20 plus years. Once the Big10 can produce the talent that the SEC does constantly year after year and not here and there then come talk to me about it other than that the Big10 and others have a long way to go to get the overall production that the SEC does year in year out.

@tehj Uh oh! Here come the personal attacks! Not sure how I will cope with being called names from someone who is doing it from behind the safety of their preferred social media device. SEC doesn't run CFB in 2024. That's all that matters.
@tehj When the SEC gets teams back in the title game and/or wins it, then they are back on top. You can't have it both ways. Right now college football belongs to the B1G. Especially if the Buckeyes win on Monday Night.
SEC is a quality conference. It wouldn't be any fun if there weren't rivalries between the 2 conferences. Geaux Tigers!
Now that everybody can pay players, not just the southern schools, it has more than leveled the field.
Hahahah, you think schools like Ohio State and Oregon weren't paying players before NIL? Youre a funny guy.
That’s just an excuse used by those that can’t cope with their schools inability to consistently win. SMH
