It really is a beautiful area to ride through! I hope to hit other sections of the Trans Quebec Trail in the future. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. Cheers!
man Winter just started and you're giving me the itch to ride !!! haha I havent done a big trip on my Africa yet..... I mean I've done some longer day trips but nothing like this. I need to plan some. The View at Valcourt Mountain was totally worth it !! haha What a beautiful look out ! Lac Matane was stunning ! Quebec is so beautiful ! I sure wish I was there with ya at your camp site having a beer haha Cheers buddy !
This was one of my all time favourite days on a bike. And that camping spot by the lighthouse was awesome. I can’t recommend doing this trip enough…..amazing scenery up there. I’m luckily at a point in my life where I can get one of these long trips and a couple long weekend trips in each year. This summer’s plan is to do Labrador with my brother. Cheers!
Man, so many beautiful lookouts and river crossings, each spot deserves it’s praise! Great captures, love the drone flybys. And such a sweet spot for the night, so awesome. Looks like a ton of footage to edit, your videos really take us along for the journey. Well done, and thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Thanks so much! I can’t recommend doing this ride enough as it’s absolutely amazing up there. As for the footage…..yeah it’s a lot to go through and cut together but I’m actually enjoying it. Normally I take a ton of pictures and never look at them again. Committing to creating videos has forced me to go back and look over everything. In some cases I find stuff I completely forgot about. And yes, that spot by the lighthouse was awesome. Cheers!
@@506motoadv Agreed, going over video footage is a different kind of fun. I have a few in the bank I’ll edit over the winter, it’ll be neat to revisit. Keep up the great work!
I have 2 more videos in this series to complete, 2 or 3 Monkey vids, and maybe a couple others if the footage is ok when I go look at it. So it will keep me busy until spring.
What a great area to explore. I need to find more roads like this next summer. Get in touch if you'd like to do a ride this summer. I think we'd be a good team. Help each other record and stuff too! I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I'll have about 8-10 days.
My trip this summer is going to be Labrador with my brother but if you’re back this way give me a shout. If schedules line up I’ll show you some of the gems that everyone misses when they just ride through New Brunswick. The Gaspésie sections of the Trans Quebec Trail were awesome. I hope to do more sections in the future. There’s also an affiliated Trans Ontario Trail now which may have sections close to you. I don’t see a website yet but they do have a Facebook page and the app is available. Cheers! 🍻
@@506motoadv Hope your trip is awesome. Because I'm a minimum 2 days hard long ride to get to New Brunswick, it's the kind of thing that would have to be set up well in advance. But keep me in mind anyway! Ontario trails are extremely limited when it comes to (legal) access with a motorbike. A few rail trails, but that's about it.
Hello, My friends and I are heading north to ride the Gaspe' sections of the TQT. We're curious about traveling through the Zec zones...Is the Zec CapChat the ONLY Zec that required payment & reservations before entering & using the roads therein? Please advise... THANKS!!
Hello! ZEC Cap Chat is the only one that I passed through on the Gaspe sections of the TQT that I know of. It was definitely the only one where the route passed through any gates. The TQT app shows where the gates are and I think the route goes around the other ZECs in the area. If you plan on venturing off the TQT I would recommend contacting the ZECs you plan on being in just to be sure. Unfortunately their website isn’t very clear. I wish I could be of more help. Cheers! And enjoy the trail, it’s amazing up there.
Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear that you enjoy the videos. While riding I basically use two cameras. An Osmo Action that I move around to multiple spots on the bike and my Sena 10C Pro mounted on my helmet. For my off bike shots I use a combination of my phone, an Osmo Pocket, and a Mini SE drone. Cheers!🏍
Hey, thanks for watching. I would recommend making a reservation. It is an actual campground with only two spots directly next to the lighthouse. pharecapchat.com/

Hey I camped at the same campground in Cap Chat and it is one of the best place I stayed.

Having never been to Quebec thank you for sharing its scenic beauty. Now to watch parts 1 and 2.

Will do. Have a look for the Trans Ontario Trail. It’s geared for ADV bikes and all within legal trails/roads.

Just wondering if you made reservations at Phare Cap-Chat? Are they necessary for a lone rider with a tent?
