Thank you 😊👍 I found the method on a few different UA-cam channels - solaris was particularly helpful.. I'm curious as to how your mod is different, I'm not sure it's necessary to remove all the components provided you break the circuit..
@@FoochekhengNov.seventeen Yes, just replace the balance connector on the battery and drone with XT60s. Shorter and simpler connection means less voltage drop. Hopefully there's not a sensor in the drone itself which checks for the battery circuit board... would need to check that first!
Thanks for your comment.. That's really interesting, I thought it would have given more flight time, I'm getting around 30mins on the bebop 2.. do you think its too heavy and the drone has to work harder to stay a loft?
@@bebopflyfree7470 on bebop 2 yes I can fly more than 23 minutes but on my bebop 1 it is less than 20 minutes. Think that the battery is too heavy but it works fine snd video is ok.
i had my bebop 2 last week hovering in 24mph winds, GPS had it locked really good, the wind got so strong that the drone dip down then back to where i had it, which is why i love this drone, but i just wish it was not so LOUD! the battery lasts 25 mins, but i like that you try making it fly longer.
Thanks for the diy, I have one stock battery and one modded like this 😉. Question: is the voltage supposed to be displayed still on screen after this mod? I only severed the spot on the board, did not remove components, then connected pigtail XT60 like this. However the voltage does not read correctly anymore so I have no idea what voltage it’s at during flight 😣.
I added a bigger battery but the drone now is unstable, oscillating left/right and the flight time is not improved. Is it possible to recalibrate it to account for larger batteries?
Good job, but it’s not worth the effort, do all this for a little more flying time, first reason, you not going have information about your battery status, going out of battery Juice, your bebop going to crash. Second the battery back for bebop it not that expensive, I got a 4250mha for 37$ free shipping. Working better than original battery.
It's nice to see Bebops are still getting love on UA-cam. It's still my favorite ❤️
Nicely done...I just did the mod a different way about a year ago and it has worked out fine.
I actually like this mod better.

@@tasmedic if there is no sensor to check battery how we have that info on app ?
I did the chance a year ago to lihv and it flies great. Did use the same 3000mah for my bebop 1 and it flies also 15 minutes on this battery.

Wow thanks for this
great work!!

How much longer do you get the drone to fly, ? And can you send a link to the battery I need plz
8:29 is it necessary to remove everything from front and back?
Pls reply
do you think this drone can handle a 4s battery?

I fly 4g mod also.. I also like the battery casing.. 👍

FULLY DISCHARGE THE BATTERY FIRST.

what and where did you get battery?
What a useless video no dialogue to describe what your doing or why
