- I spent 8 and a half total mapping hours to finish this, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! 5.31 notes per second sounds easy right?

how do you move your wrists fast enough to hit everything? i play beat saber occasionally and am looking to improve
@@biteybeast Honestly just playing a lot and practicing is the best way to improve, although there's a few small things like changing around some in game settings, changing grip on your controller, or using practice mods to learn harder patterns. For speed one thing that helped me was playing maps I know I can do but on faster song and trying to score as if it was normal mode. Kinda wires your brain into thinking normal speed is slower xD
@@FinduroVR ah, ok. i'm up to the standard expert approach rate; i think the problem might be me playing on quest 1 bc i can't use mapping extension and the controllers have hella latency issues lmao
@@biteybeast Yee ik its not the best headset for that kinda stuff. If you get the link cable it'll act as a pcvr and then you wont have to worry about that. Also if you dont use claw grip on those controllers already I highly recommend since default isnt that good xD

I wish! His songs are so hard to map, very strange timings and sounds. This one was okay because it has a mostly steady beat, and some of my other favourites like distant structures could be pretty possible I think.

I'm happy you enjoy it so much! For quest and quest 2 the easiest way to get custom songs like this one is with a link cable then through PCVR modding, which is much much easier than standalone quest modding. I'm pretty sure the modding program for quest isnt even updated for the latest version right now.... but then the modding comes at a cost of 80 extra dollars for a link cable (which I think is worth it) but still that is CRAZY expensive for a cable sooo I guess its just whatever works best for you :)

@@sagecoregd Its definitely a big choice to get a VR but I think it's worthwhile. The ability to play *almost* any song you can think of in a virtual sword game was enough to entice me at least xD

@@FinduroVR I've seen tons levels with fake notes and the player having to turn around to hit notes behind them, stuff like that would have been amazing for this song

@@Just_Ben_YT Ah yes, I wish I had the skill and patience to map that kind of stuff. Those maps are all scripted and coded very meticulously and take absolute ages to make- but I agree this song would be perfect for something like that

me personally, im fine with the first part of the drop, the second and third personally need a bit of work
maybe mix the arms up more for the second drop and especially the third with using the other arm more for each part in the third
If I mapped this again now I’d probably do it very different, but what you say is interesting since I always disliked the first half more than the second. Then again, I wanted it to be a jump map and that it definitely is :P

I believe the easiest way is through getting a quest link cable to pc, otherwise I dont think the mods are updated atm.
