I can't stress enough how important it is to shake/stir those. The "good stuff" really likes to settle at the bottom of the bottle. I needed to literally scrape the bottom of the bottle with my metal sculpting tools to move the pigment (?), but after that it works like a charm.
You can use the moss on stones and it looks really good. Also a tip for these paints: you can get streaks much more easily if you let them dry a bit and than go back in with a damp brush and just brush up and down a few times (just like you would for streaking grime)
Try a Chaos Knight. Lots of fun to be had painting one of those. Also if you haven’t tried AK Streaking Grime, check it out. It does wonders adding addition detail.
i got the moss verdigris and rust for my birthday and they have been so nice for my kill teams and chaos, ive actually been using the moss for some more color subdued lenses over a white base
You can get some metal be be to put in the bottles and there are machines to mix your paints too. Also maybe just boil some water and put them in that after taking it off the stove to warm them up
i get a similar effect just using gw contrasts. if you use iyanden yellow followed by ratling grime, then drybrush the leadbealcher/runefang like you did here, it gets a similar effect. idk what the cost of the dirty down line is though comparatively to contrasts.
I'm wondering what the moss would look like over copper, since a lot of copper corrosion is more green than blue, maybe a mix of the moss and the brass corrosion. Im also still curious what they look like just over the grey scale slapchop
Oh No! Dirty down!, It is like they got to be taken for a jog in a vacuum to keep yourself safe, but to alsoget the paints to mix! Then if you get it on something, R.I.P. Anyways Moss looks awesome on your full effect piece.
Yes, but in this case you really are getting what you pay for. I tend to be stingy, but the effect and the speed you get it at is totally worth the price.

Ill definitely have to have a look at getting these paints
I love the bronze look, wanted to see how the dirty down looked on the bronze before I did it myself, thank you for testing first 😊
I have been wanting to try this stuff. Sounds like I need to just go ahead and get some.

Literally just picked up some of these the other day and was looking for a good video showing what they're capable of, cheers!

Love the effect, but the price!?!? Wow, I'm seeing 17 US dollars on up to 23 dollars for a measly 25 ML or .85FL OZ, ugh!
