ClairRedfeild I haven't seen anyone trash it, a lot of the videos I've seen complained about packaging,shipping and the 3D eyeshadows. Also a lot of UA-camrs tend to have similar reactions to products, they don't really have their own opinions. Also it launched the same time as the Mario palette and the formula is insane

Great review on this palette! I love that you said how many swipes you did to get the color payoff. The swatches were amazing!! AND that "extra" swatch from the Unusual Suspect is a RIOT!! You're actually the 2ND Influencer who received Huda's palette with a swatch on it. In the other's case it was on Angelic. 😂 This is one LOVED palette! I wonder who' doing it??? Is it somebody in the packing and shipping area or somebody enroute! The mystery continues. Heehee! In any case I'm with that person, I love this palette so much that I did my version of a "dupe" on it and actually followed your tutorial with my palette and it came out ALMOST like yours! Heehee!! But my version of Rose Gold was NOT working and I had to correct it by topping with Makeup Geek's "In the Spotlight" (to cancel the under color) and Colourpop's "Bubbly". And it looked ALMOST as good as yours!! I'm happy! Though I'm lusting this palette and hope to get it at Sephora in Nov. I don't really care what others say, for me Huda's is Modern Renaissance on steroids!! This is actually the way I WISHED Modern Renaissance was. So I think I got my wish. What do people expect they are foiled eyeshadows like a pressed pigment a brush just is not going to be able to pick it up properly.

The shimmers in this one, even disregarding the texture, are all different shades too. I promise you wouldn't regret this one! It's so good lol 😍😘

The only shades that remind me of one another at all out of the two palettes are Warm Taupe (MR) and Suede (Huda) Both beautiful and great quality! ❤️
You can’t look like a nationality you moron. There are Asian, Black, Arab Brits too they’re not all White. British just means you have a British passport. She could be anything from Turkish to English to Czech to German or a mixture of several things - that is ethnicity. There is a difference between ethnic origin and nationality. Race and ethnicity are also not the same thing: English and German are the same race as both ethnicities are classed as “White”.
When I received one of my Violet Voss palettes it had a finger print in one of the shades, too. Was not happy, but like Brianna said, what are ya gonna do?!
I have the Holy Grail palette and love it although a lot of new palettes are coming out with similar colors which one would be the best to get? The Huda rose gold? The Kylie Burgundy? Help
ahsylegnp That's hard only because the shadows in this one are so unique because of their texture. Between the VV and Modern Renaissance, I definitely say Modern Renaissance because that's like my holy grail palette. Between the MR and the Huda palette, I'd personally go with the Modern Renaissance because those are the colors that I wear more often. The quality of shadows is amazing in both, so I think it comes down to color preference! 😊
Artliker1234 Just because you get a better and more smooth application when your makeup is applied 10-20 minutes after you've cleansed and moisturized. Of course everyone is different, but if you apply your makeup directly after C&M, the moisturizer may not have had enough time to soak in to your skin and may slide around/off throughout the day, but on the other side, if you wait more than like 30 minutes after C&M, I feel that your makeup doesn't apply as flawlessly because it's not as freshly cleaned. I've always found it helpful! 😊
You should really check out the Natasha Denona palette!!! The pigments are wonderful. The shadows are like - butter. They are all stunningly beautiful. Yes, very expensive, but worth every penny of the $239.00!!!!

I have seen so many bad reviews and even though it is a good point that they don't always swatch well but can look good on the eyes, I have seen them look patchy on other tutorials. Not sure if some palettes are bad or what then?? I also can't believe there was a finger print in it, yuck I have OCD and my brain could not use that palette lol. Glad you enjoy it though, for bad swatches and fingerprints, not worth my 70 some dollars lol. Thanks for the review

i bought the pallet because the swatches you showed where amazing. and they are not like this. the matts have to be applied so much to get a color. idk why :( they also work bad with brushes takes forever to get a color to show :(
Karen Gonzalez I always use my finger to apply shimmer shades and get great pay off that way. The mattes blended like a dream for me too! I hate that it didn't work for you and so many other people because it really is so pretty 😭
This palette isn't getting great reviews overall. Some are saying the mattes are poor quality - a lot of kick up and fall out, the textured shadows are only best using the fingers....who wants to put their fingers in a palette? Not to mention it is over priced.

Chenal Attwood it's expensive , yes But you get a ton of shadows. take a look at ABH palettes. you get like, 12 shades more or less, right? for about 52$. do the math & you're paying about 4.50 per eyeshadow hudas has 18 shadows & you're paying 62 do the math & you're paying about 3.50 per shadow it's actually not a terrible price if you compare prices that way
I bought it while i was in paris a few days ago and i think its actually really good quality the amount of looks you can get out of it are amazing and all the matte shades are so blendable

You can’t look like a nationality you moron. There are Asian, Black, Arab Brits too they’re not all White. British just means you have a British passport. She could be anything from Turkish to English to Czech to German or a mixture of several things - that is ethnicity. There is a difference between ethnic origin and nationality. Race and ethnicity are also not the same thing: English and German are the same race as both ethnicities are classed as “White”.

ahsylegnp That's hard only because the shadows in this one are so unique because of their texture. Between the VV and Modern Renaissance, I definitely say Modern Renaissance because that's like my holy grail palette. Between the MR and the Huda palette, I'd personally go with the Modern Renaissance because those are the colors that I wear more often. The quality of shadows is amazing in both, so I think it comes down to color preference! 😊

What's the time window before you apply makeup? I've never heard that before
Artliker1234 Just because you get a better and more smooth application when your makeup is applied 10-20 minutes after you've cleansed and moisturized. Of course everyone is different, but if you apply your makeup directly after C&M, the moisturizer may not have had enough time to soak in to your skin and may slide around/off throughout the day, but on the other side, if you wait more than like 30 minutes after C&M, I feel that your makeup doesn't apply as flawlessly because it's not as freshly cleaned. I've always found it helpful! 😊

You should really check out the Natasha Denona palette!!! The pigments are wonderful. The shadows are like - butter. They are all stunningly beautiful. Yes, very expensive, but worth every penny of the $239.00!!!!

I have seen so many bad reviews and even though it is a good point that they don't always swatch well but can look good on the eyes, I have seen them look patchy on other tutorials. Not sure if some palettes are bad or what then?? I also can't believe there was a finger print in it, yuck I have OCD and my brain could not use that palette lol. Glad you enjoy it though, for bad swatches and fingerprints, not worth my 70 some dollars lol. Thanks for the review

i bought the pallet because the swatches you showed where amazing. and they are not like this. the matts have to be applied so much to get a color. idk why :( they also work bad with brushes takes forever to get a color to show :(
Karen Gonzalez I always use my finger to apply shimmer shades and get great pay off that way. The mattes blended like a dream for me too! I hate that it didn't work for you and so many other people because it really is so pretty 😭

This palette isn't getting great reviews overall. Some are saying the mattes are poor quality - a lot of kick up and fall out, the textured shadows are only best using the fingers....who wants to put their fingers in a palette? Not to mention it is over priced.

But you get a ton of shadows. take a look at ABH palettes. you get like, 12 shades more or less, right? for about 52$. do the math & you're paying about 4.50 per eyeshadow
hudas has 18 shadows & you're paying 62
do the math & you're paying about 3.50 per shadow
it's actually not a terrible price if you compare prices that way
I bought it while i was in paris a few days ago and i think its actually really good quality the amount of looks you can get out of it are amazing and all the matte shades are so blendable
