Nasi Kandar in Penang is a must-try. Rice with a delicious combination of sauces/curries with a choice of meat/fish/vegetables. Spicy or less spicy - a definite treat. Thank you for the video.
Dale, I’m a Penangite and I never been inside Fort Cornwallis 😂. And fyi, there’s a lot of yummy nasi kandar restaurant other than Line Clear. PS: thanks for your awesome videos. I used it as reference during my trip to Sri Lanka last March!
That looks so delicious. Wish I was there. Them street foods are so adventurous. Forget the holiday, I would be eating 24/7 If I was there .. The guy you was eating with and speaking to was very friendly which is what you want when you are so far from home. Great stuff Dale.
Malaysian student studying overseas. Watching nasi kandar videos to curb my midnight malaysian food cravings 😭 i miss nasi kandar and penang foods! love the video and you did a good job of eating with your hands!
Nasi kandar pelita in KL seems to have more variety, not just indian and srilankan, they have seafood, scrumptious dark honey chicken, and mango ABC ice, my favorite.
Dale I think you sweat so much because you are overflowing with energy. You are more energised than the Duracell 🐰! I am sweating just by watching you😂😂😂
Just want u to know, the person who throw the curry and mix it.That is the symbolic of nasi kandar sir.Its not dirty,Its just the tradition of indian muslim that came to malaysia and open food stall here a long time ago.
I miss the street food the most, from living in south east asia or probably in any developing country. Nothing like enjoying a nice meal with a cold drink amongst the chaotic energy of the city. It's the small things.

They mix the sauces, because they taste more or less the same and works well together. The only difference is the ‘kicap’ which is salty and red sauce ‘ayam masak merah’ which taste sweet.
You are aware you devastated down a whole large plate of nasi kandar and you're not from a land that is used to hot and spicy chillis? Well done. At least you can sleep after that. I never take this meal during a working lunch because within an hour the food coma hits.
