I'm up by indie and Monday April 29th we had an inch of rain and these next 3 days are going to be in the 80s so do you think the first and second of May should have them popping up up here?
they are out in PAfound some really dark one while at work yesterday and day b4, which kick me off to hunt. i have never ate or hunted b4 so in one hour willbe my first hunt, wish me luck!
Good luck it's fun, learn to find patterns where ya find them. Remove the dirt before putting them in a bag. So you don't get dirt in the sponges. Cook in salt free baking butter, not oil.
That's a tough one, but sandy soils with sycamores, elms, and cottonwood I've done the best. Also fields that have been let go long enough for sapplings to start and briar bushes about waste high can be awesome.
Good video and informative

Maybe on very steep north facing hills.

Sneaky chaw lol
At 3 minutes...4 seconds, it looks like there's another morel like 3 inches S/SE of the one you picked. Check it out
There was. Another good catch! I found on the way back out!
@@getyasomeoutdoors9507 you're right. I saw that later in the video. 😂
So you’re saying we need to find a sycamore tree 😂 I have the hardest time finding these guys
Yes, that was definitely the pattern on this property. But in my experience, sycamores only do well in rocky soil.
Holy shit getting a headache with all the camera flinging from spot to spot
I should put point of view in title somewhere
