I was born in Fayette Co. and grew up on a horse farm just down the road (Bryan Station Rd.) from where fort Bryan Station Stood. I also graduated from Bryan Station High School named after the fort of course. I was later a member of the Bryan Station Baptist Church which was organized in the old fort in 1786. Many of those who took part in the siege were later part of that church. So the history of the siege and the women of the fort going to the spring for water was all a part of my childhood and young adult life. I too have moved around a lot and have lived in California for a time. But there is no place like "home" especially if you were fortunate enough to be from Kentucky. My wife and I are both from KY, she was from Clark Co. We try to get back there when ever we can. We currently live in Michigan.
my 4th great uncle Ezekiel Henry Field died at the Battle of Blue Lick. His cousin, George Rogers Clark asked him to run reconnaisance. he left a widow with 2 kids. Ezekiel helped Daniel Boone found boonesborough
@@KentuckyHistoryChannel It could still be fixed, in post production. I've used AVS4you to do industrial videos. I was able to set end points for bad audio levels from the raw files and turn out a very nice final product. There are many other programs that will do this, but that software was supplied by the company that I did the videos for.
@@michaelterrell Apologies, Michael-that's on me. In preparation for the interview I'd purchased a new mic and was struggling with it a bit. I appreciate you pushing through it!
@@jeffwinstead7934 I'm a retired Broadcast Engineer, and I did commercial sound as a business, for several decades. Unfortunately, I now have severe tinnitus, which makes it hard to deal with a wide range of levels.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching, Jason!
First!
The audio needs work. I could barely hear the author, while your voice was overdriving my speakers.
We do apologize for that. We had some technical difficulties and had to make due with what we had.
