I just love the way you show your appreciation and concern for your customers and viewers. Just bought my first SL500 a 2006 and have been watching and reading to learn about systems and functions. I’m coming over from the other side, formerly a Corvette owner. I’m 76 with back trouble and wanted a car that I can drive with comfort but still have a sporty ride and look. I think what you do is awesome for the enthusiast.
Dam I’m in Orlando I could’ve definitely helped him out swapping that out….I did my entire swap to coilovers with the standard pump. Definitely cool that he made that trip it’s hard to find a good mechanic. I need to start back posting and quit slacking on my channel. Excellent work as always bro 🫡🤝
@@CL500MBZ That’s at your discretion. If your power steering was fine beforehand, I don’t see a reason to introduce a filter. But that’s not a bad idea if you’re doing a flush.
Brandon I'll bring mine from Florida the next time I have issues. Everyone here told me they couldn't do it because it had no sway bar, so I paid for a new pump and one shock!! Yes and you know what that cost and still got three old shocks still on the car waiting to go out. Please look and see if you can do a 4dr 2007 S600. Let me know.
Hey man, I’m just going back through your videos as I’ve finally ordered my yellowspeeds today and im now trying to refresh my memory on which pump to buy for my 2002 CL and also the whole reservoir thing confused me, Just heard you say ill need that for a CL but when I look for ML500 pumps they dont have a reservoir with them 🤦♂️ sorry man if you’ve got any part numbers to exactly what I would need it would be greatly appreciated, and also to know what mods I would need to do for the pipes, cant find a video that explains it well , if only we lived closer 🤣 🇬🇧
Hey BG. Love the videos. Got my struts installed but waiting til summer to tackle the pump switch. What "additional disassembly" is necessary to take that first bolt out from underneath? Just the plastic panels? Thanks.
Head rest locking error message after putting seat covers. Any input? The right side seems to have reset itself, but the left still gives error. Nothing seems disconnected (CL500)

What about the power steering filter ? Should it be changed with a full flush to refresh the steering fluid?

I need to do this swap in my s55 amg. I did the coilover swap but I'm a little intimidated by the abc pump removal.

Hey! Yes….just remove the underside cover to an access the bolt. I think my previous installation video shows the exact location and process.
