It seems that the Way of Wisdom is more a walk than a sprint. “Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes” (Prov 19:2). The KJV sharpens the point by saying that fast feet run to sin. We can “make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail” (Prov 19:21). We’re exhorted to “draw out understanding” (Prov 20:5), carefully, calmly, like extruding pasta slowly. It takes time to create a good meal, and there’s a calmness God wants inside us, one that overlooks small infractions (Prov 19:11), and knows that we can’t see everything all at once. “The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?” (Prov 20:24) As an old song says, “Don’t try to live your life in one day”-because we know that wisdom comes step by step with our Great Teacher.
Three verses stood out to me that affirm God's sovereignty. Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" and Proverbs 21:30 says, "There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord." God's sovereignty gives me peace and comfort. I know the victory rests wirh Him- My Lord (Proverbs 21:31).
Aloha and good morning BR family. Proverbs 21:20, "There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord". All the praise and honor to God for his knowledge and wisdom reading and understanding his words. He is where the JOY is!!💯🙏
Good afternoon my bible Family Friends thanking God for wisdom that comes from God ❤❤ have a blessed day in His Presence ❤️ He is where the Joy is 💯❤️
Yes,Lord. The victory belongs to You; therefore to me for You❤ live in me. Amen
Good morning my Bible Recap friends.... the victory belongs to the Lord 😇🙏😇
💪
When you said that God is patient with us even though we blame Him and misunderstand Him, I thought of a scene from Season 4 episode 4 of The Chosen when Jesus is being wrongfully blamed for this and that. Sometimes, it's nice to have a visual reference to The Living Word of God. May He continue to be patient with us as we go along the journey of learning who He is. Amen
Hey Bible Readers!
God bless y’all
I love what you said about using wisdom rightly and working on not being quarrelsome people whether we intend to marry or not. Great takeaway.
Thank you so much🎉
God thank you I will continue to seek your wisdom 🙏🏽
