      Thanks for commenting and yes, it really is quite handy. My cart is looking a little older now than in the video, but I wouldn't change a thing about the design.

      Yes - very handy.
      I've got some spare baltic birch plywood so I'll give it a go.
      I'm hoping I can store some pipe clamps on it.
      Might look at a black melamine top with some contrasting edging.

      @@Tinker1950 Sounds like a good plan. You should fasten the top without glue so it's easy to remove and replace later is things get too banged up and dirty. My top looks pretty high mileage at this stage.
