I agree with her so much towards the end when she was talking about how dismayed she was with opponents/wrestlers who care more about championships and accomplishments than having fun. I feel like that’s the missing recipe in the present days. Back then we had women who bonded, had fun and didn’t take themselves too seriously and as a result, so many iconic backstage segments, feuds, and matches were born. Regardless of whether they are a “technical” masterpiece or not. I feel like these days you have insanely talented competitors who lack storytelling abilities because they take themselves too seriously and are missing this key integral part.

I haven't really followed wrestling for a few years, but I had to see Fox reflect on her career so I gladly watched the whole interview. :) One of the most remarkable parts about her career to me is the longevity, especially having started in an era where the typical shelf life of a woman's run in WWE was about 6 years. She got to work with so many different generations of women. And she's so humble. One of the all time greats, for sure. Future HOF.

Very interesting to hear about the "championship mentality" that's existing more nowadays. Makes me think of how around the year 2010 the women would wrestle their hearts out on WWE Superstars, with the championship not being in the picture at all. That's where the gems of matches used to be back then! I'm grateful for the effort that the women put in back then 💕

Finally, she mentions something that I always thought but couldn't put to words at 23:52. Of course I love Bayley, Sasha Banks and a lot of the developmental girls in that era but I felt like I couldn't connect with them (atleast not until much later). They're focus was completely wrestling and that's fine, but I always felt they were knocking the Divas and the generations before them - when that was some of the most entertaining characters/wrestling in that era.

    I love, love, LOVE her.
She is so honest, so humble, so funny...I love her vulnerability.
I love how she doesn't have the ego that so many do...she doesn't realize how great of a seller she is (truly one of the best, male or female), and how downright funny she is...human-beings like her are a rare breed in this world.
I really hope Foxy ends up someplace like IMPACT, where I think she can really be showcased and have a positive effect. She's got far too much talent to NOT be in the ring.

Alicia is so underrated. Its so dissapointing that she only got 1 Diva's Championship reign which lasted just short of two months (and no, who recognises the 24/7 title). Constantly foisted into these factions and overlooked but the skill set and the characterisation was top notch even during darker times for the Women's Division. Alicia was so infectious in this interview - it rubs off. Id love her to have another run.

Shame on the company for not atleast contacting her for being released after all the years she put in. She was a great worker/entertainer but she also understands the fundamentals; which I see the woman from the recent years talk down on divas era so harshly but at least they were trained properly about the wrestling basics, how to get OVER with character and ring physiology from the old school wrestlers before them
