A day on a river is always a good day, if you find something good it makes it more interesting. Thanks Chigg I've been enjoying your videos for many years thanks for sharing them with us.
Beau, thank you for always being you! I love your adventures, your sense of humor, and your educational style! I don't post comments often because you are inundated with them. I don't expect a reply. Just know I think the world of you and love your adventures, whatever they may be!
@@Laura-Kitty The variety of treasures that he finds in the Thanes river is amazing. Finding roman pottery , mid 1800’s bottles and WW2 shrapnel in one outing is a very good day.
Chiggs, fun finds and a great day to be outside. So much lead and happy to see it out of the water. Always enjoy your videos and sense of humor. Happy Labor Day weekend.👏👍😀
There it was, a gleam beneath the water's edge, A promise of something rare, something worth the dredge. But as I wiped the mud away, my hopes sunk low, Just a Lincoln, a penny, nothing more to show. Not the silver dreams or the golden past, Just a copper coin, another moment lost too fast. A "stinkin' Lincoln," they say with a bitter smile, A reminder that not every treasure's worth the while. But I'll keep searching, for that glint of gold, Because even in disappointment, a story unfolds. And in the end, it's the chase, not the find, That keeps me coming back, time after time.
You found a William's Cl;eaner! Not a bad day, Beau! A good friend gave me one and it's one of my favorite treasures! Plus, it's always a good day when you share your rivers! Thanks.
@@Silver_Gray I never knew there has been so much science involved in the design and construction of projectiles. Probably learned more from Beau in the last couple of years than I had in the previous 60 plus. I think my only concern in the past was should I buy Winchester or Remington. Now I love looking at the science that creates distance and accuracy. It is much more complicated than I would ever have imagined.
Hot here in TN. Found a surface fired 3 ringer in a spot i wasn't expecting. Was walking the river. Something must have happened there. Time to take the AT Max out. Thanks for another great adventure!
The thin curved piece of metal reminds me of a main spring from an old pistol. I’m not saying that’s what it is but it’s definitely reminiscent of one.
Safest is in your vehicle if lightening. Lightening can travel 7 miles in stream / lake. Stand with feet together to minimize energy transfer when lightening strikes.
Two days before September it’s a beautiful day and you found a Williams cleaner. What more could you want? Thanks for taking us so long and I’m glad the bug didn’t climb up into your ear. He was trying though.
Pretty sure that's not a fishing rod holder. I do believe that's a quick dog out. You corkscrew that down into the ground and then can hook your dogs chain up to the top. Found one just like that on my property. No river in site.
Do you sell the bullets? I love stuff like that. It's like looking back in time. I live in point of rocks MD. I'd love to buy one or a tip to a hot spot would be awesome.
Chigg, Yesterday I watched a YT video of some Asian guy who built a mini Jet boat.... I immediately thought of your's, he built the Boat, the impeller, steering, etc and installed an electric start gas engine and it hauled butt down the River, He used a special glue, thin plywood, fiberglass etc.... If I can find it again I'll leave ya a link, if you may want to watch it, its not very long...>?
If it’s the same guy I saw a while back… he’s extremely skilled. I watched him dig a buried, barnacle encrusted boat engine from the salt water and rebuild it with very few new parts… and then installed it in an awesome boat that he built from scratch. Very interesting.

A bad day on the River, is better than a Good Day cleaning house.
15:38 spotted lantern fly on your shoulder Lol
Yeah, they are getting worse every year.
@@aquachigger
They've even been spotted up here on lake Ontario, NY...advised to squash them!
13:30 the river noodle sighting made me happy
A nice little signal and a cute Veterinarian from the Shanendoah Valley makes Chigg’s heart go pitter pat. Living a best life.
You scored extra CHIGG points for the Chris Farley reference. He was one of the best.
Cool finds chigger. Nice day of finds. ❤❤❤
We had fun too Chigg, lol. I always enjoy river hunts.
13:00 might have been seine weights? Fun hunt. Thanks for sharing!!!

Enjoyed your river dives in England...Fun!
Always enjoy a day on the river. Thanks, Beau.
Your first metal piece looks like those old, '50's era, bottle opener attached to vending machines. When sodas were a nickle !
Great show Chiggster glad to see you getting out more often lately !! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida

Beard's lookin good Chigg!
Cool! I used to have one of those weigh scales back in the 70's. Neet find.
Looked like a pretty place to have fun finding treasures ,I enjoyed today's adventure
Some Fun on the River!!!; )
Sounds like a good plan to go metal detector for old coins and gold or silver is so much fun
Great Hunt. Thank you for sharing Chig!!!!!👍👍✌✌
Always great joining in with you Chigg!
thanks chigg
That fishing pole holder you found is neat. They work pretty good but they are pretty hard to find around here anymore.
Fun adventure!

Hello front France Beau. I liké your vidéos. And you are right even if you don't find a lot, it IS always fun to go digging
I really like your metal detecting videos!
Thanks
10:20 Lead jackpot! Cool video. Looks like you were detecting near a good fishing hole.
The item you found at 11:00 is quite clearly a modern soda can tab
Using a glove today! Awesome… possum!😂

Great video as usual we call sunglasses river bingo in UK chigg.
Good hunt chigg 1 bullet
F.U.N. Found Ultimately Nothing 😂
Love that Zebco scale, I still have one
Never seen someone but a sinker on a snap swivel lol
@aquachigger go back and pick up that lead dude. Negative Chigg points for not doing so.
And another day older and deeper in debt!
Cool
Checking in!
Good to see ya!
Look like wire rope compression sleeves at the end there.
That hunk of metal with the hole looks like a hammer out of a hammer mill.
What type snake was that in the water at 12:30?
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
That brass washer looks like one that went to indoor light fixtures. The nut and washer held glass cover up.
Chigger don't stop til his stinkfiner is in the pudding! 😅 Seriously, that bottom soil looks very slippery, muck basically.
Of all the skunk hunts - this WASN'T one of them!
Chigg hey
5826 hey
When are you going to look for arrowheads next?
that is a swamp cooler water pump 2:06
Do you ever think that the stuff you retrieve could have been off of a fallen soldier's body? Of course, the remnants of the soldier are long gone.
It's always possible, but unlikely.
Have great long weekend
Since i have a minelab (Equinox 600) metal detector, i haven't metal detected in the water, but i detect mostly on land.
Sometimes going to a spot and finding nothing. Teaches us more than hitting the jackpot.
Those leads tubes, rope goes true it at bottom of cast net ,net is long gone .🤔

When you were editing, did you see the insect on your left shoulder?
Looks like cast net weights
Awesome video please be careful yes you don't want to get meningitis
Were Williams cleaner bullets shot solely for cleaning the rifling or were they also used to hit a target?
when you are fanning the waters why is there a black substance coming out of the watery ground is that ink or gunpowder.
When was the last time you found gold?
Do you sell the bullets? I love stuff like that. It's like looking back in time. I live in point of rocks MD. I'd love to buy one or a tip to a hot spot would be awesome.
That thing you can't figure out. Goes on your finger. Metal claw That's what it looks like to me.
Wondering if our Chiggster is up in God's country...(Maine?)
Hows your spotted lantern fly population this year? Seen that one crawling on you! Ours aren't as bad as last year, so far
Someone tried to cheat the treasure hunting system by putting a sump pump in the river. lol
Remember , baby doll head in the cave ? 👻
