    What a dumb design! Heated air should be blown across the floor, not up at the ceiling and supply air should never be aimed at the return. The return should be pulling in cold air in the winter!

      We are replacing our low mounted wall unit with this floor unit because of its airflow design. We live an in very humid area and the downward blowing louvers have weakened our floor.

      Obviously you wern't paying attention. it only does that for a few minutes at startup so the unit can be brought to temp quicker, after that the front vent opens more and warm air is blown across the floor. I know because I have 4 of these, one in each upstairs bedroom.

      @@kizunadragon9 How do you like them? Are they still functioning well? Do you conceal them (like with a special cabinet) or do you leave them exposed?

      @@TheAnnej73 so far so good. I leave them exposed, they look basically like any other heat radiator you'd see in a house.

      @@kizunadragon9 Thanks for the response! I know that they can be recessed in the wall. Have you done that? And, if so, how far can the go into the wall?
