As others have mentioned - nice build. For the engine cover you decided to use the supplied clear part with a decal on it. Do you think it would be possible to bend a hex photoetched sheet into the correct shape?
Excellent job. Just one remark. The german license plates need to be swapped. The one with the two round stickers has to be at the back... Sorry for being picky :-)
Since it took some force to put the Body on the chassi after mounting the bumpers, do u think it would have been possible to Mount it even without cutting the front diffuser of?
Oh no you forgot some thing really important in the interior. You forgot to paint the leather piping in a contrast colour. Besides, is your 918 Spyder comes the Weissach Packets, because I can see the magnesium wheels and clear carbon fibre wind shield frame and side mirrors. If it is the Weissach Packets, why you don applied the carbon fibre rear wings ?
+Scuderia Pertev plamoz makes aftermarket wheels for this kit. They sent me a set of the weissach pack and the regular wheels to show on the model. I build the normal version and added carbon fiber decals all over the place because i like the look. I did not make it in to a weissach pack because i do not like the flaps on the rear. And i think the contrasting piping on the seats looks horrible so i did not paint it on.
Hey "The Scalemodeling Channel"! I had one question, if I were to pay you and supply you with the model of my choice would you be able to build that model for me and then send it back to me when it's finished?
+Joshua Kaszynski That depends on the model, time frame and if i like the price you think my work is worth. Further contact can go through email if you don't mind.
Nice job!!! I'm starting my own 918 this week, where can I get the acid green paint? I've been looking for it for a long time!!! By the way I think you made a tiny mistake at the rear calipers(www.seriouswheels.com/pics-2014/nopq/2014-Porsche-918-Spyder-Mechanicals-Chassis-1920x1200.jpg)
Congrats to 10.000 subs! Best scale modeling channel on UA-cam :)
Very well done. I like the tape trick to hold the windshield for installation. Looking forward to your next build.
Very nice looking Porsche. Well done.
Superb result, I like the carbon detail even though it looked like a lot of work to do! I might go for a two tone look on mine.
Absolutely fantastic
Gratulations to 10k subs :D
By the way, thanks for the front splitter idea, I can be more precise with the detail that way.
super very nice, very good job!
wonderful job very very nice

+Andrius Gonestas It would/should be possible, though very hard to get it looking better then the clearparts with decals.

Mattias Svanberg i don’t think so
Great build as always. Are the left and right alloys different?
Very nice and so much detail! Too bad the details of the engine aren't visible!
Did you use kit rubber tires on the the plamoz wheels
yes
very nice....can you do some model using spray can
what kind of glue is used that you can get it to adhere to a painted surface. By the way you are just incredible!
Zap a Gap Medium Thicknes CA glue
It holds to painted surfaces?
Yes, otherwise i would not use it as the model would have fallen appart already ;)
The Scalemodeling Channel thx again and keep the videos coming as you are awesome!
Perfect build! Makes me jealous 😁 keep the good work up!
PS: Are the rims stock? Or did you order custom ones?
Custom
Super build Tom! Wat mij betreft 1 van je betere.
super,super continue mon ami
Awesome
Nice!!!
Heel mooi Tom
Sharp.
Hi I just tried building my first model and my windows got smeared with the cement I was using :( any tips ? Thanks!
+felicia w Use less cement and instead try glue specificly for clear parts
Why are the wheels different?
On both sides
Because plamoz wanted me to showcase both sets they came out with

Oh I see..
Any ways another quality finish on the 918 as usual.
Recently started watching your videos brother.
The glue you used for headlights ans windshield.. is that PVA Glue ?
Liked and Subbed :), great work!
+sypher0101 It is revell Contact Clear, though white wood glue will also work
does the wheel spin ? :)
They can, but not that well.

Not forgotten. I just hate the look. It is not the weissach pack. Just the regular version with a lot of carbon fiber parts
But where do get the Magnesium wheels .... wait a moment, why you got the normal 918 rims on the offside and the magnesium rims on the nearside?
+The Scalemodeling Channel Still do not understand this, even after watching your unboxing video

+Scuderia Pertev quite simply put. I built it to my liking, not to a speficic model or package. So their is nothing in particular to understand ;) :p

I just noticed that your brakes are in the wrong way ;)
yup noticed that too...Porsche always puts these on the 'inside'
Very very good! I like your films. Have you no problem with fat from your hands? You don't use gloves.
+Ronny Langendorf You meant Grease:P no not really ;)
There is a chance that we can make it so far, we start believing now that we can be who we are.

Gravityrcolors or Zero paints have Acid green in their range of colors
Thanks~
Rear brake calipers appear to be backwards...
correct.
