Very stylish car. Gotta be a specific kind of person to drive this one. Custom Cadillacs are very "of" their designer, in such a way that they make their second owner look like a little kid wearing his dad's blazer, unless they live up to the vibe. Word to the wise, if you buy this car I recommend a wardrobe full of wide-lapel suits, wide brim hats, long hair, pointy leather shoes, dagger collar shirts and plenty of cufflinks. A dish of rings and a cape with animal print on it wouldn't hurt.
Pimps and drug pushers and street hustlers drove these rides in the 70s. I remember when they freely roamed the streets..my hood had a few of em rolling around
One bad ass vehicle, I'd have to install factory 8 track, but love that car, that is in fact a factory interior, friend of mine had a 75 yellow coupe w that interior
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car!!!!! I would give almost anything to ride in that bad boy. I’m Jealous of the guy filming this, knowing that this is his. Wow!!!
A few of the options you said was created for that model year, were actually out in the 60's and the plexiglass rooftop come out in 1970, I had one on my 4-door duce-&-guarter that was from the factory...
Oh, those '70s memories, super-fly vibe. Two songs go with this, folks: "Be Thankful..." by Wm DeVaughn, & "Superfly" by Curtis Mayfield, give 'em a listen.
Syrita Benson Hello Syrita Benson, my name is Mike there's a place in Texas called Slabs not where I got mine but there good too, I can show you some pic of mine
I know this car I had the chance to buy it recently for $7500 in Marietta ga, I loved the car but had a lot wrong with it mainly painted over rust! some trim pieces missing. still for sale here but someone bought it and now want $13,000 for it! maybe if it was perfect but had a lot of issues.
Wade Ervin I'd have regretted not buying her. I purchased out of Conyers, Ga. It's now in Fort Myers, Fl. and is presently undergoing restoration. She has issues, for sure, but it would be difficult to duplicate all of her rare and unique 70's pimp elements for what I paid, which was far, far below $13,000. I should know, I have 3 other coach-built 70's Cadillacs. She's destined to be a stunning example of a true iconic 70's pimpmobile. I don't regret a dime spent. I'll update the page when complete. Thanks for your comment.
White man can drive it all day and everyday. Black man can drive it and get pulled over all day and everyday. Sweet Pimp Ride Though. I can see Priest right now.
That is due to the more likely hood of a Black man pushing and pimping hoes in urban cities at the time, Country folks would not have this unless as a collectors item,.
I' m Black not a real pimp but the ladies do love me if I say so my self. I need this car it brings back a lot of memories for me. The very first time I saw head lights were on a Lincoln that was owned by a real pimp. How much is this car?
Probably not. It does look like the Manhattan two tone crushed velour you claimed in the video. But Cadillac did not offer it in black in 1975. Only Dark Blue, Rosewood, Crimson, and Saddle. You had to buy the d'Elegance package to get it. Also, it wasn't available in the Limousine. The 1975 Cadillac brochure doesn't mention a "Mardi Gras Velour". The other velour mentioned was a solid color velour called Medici, offered in the Talisman interior and the Limousine. "Mardi Gras Velour" was a similar fabric offered in 1974, again in the d'Elegance package. This is clearly not a 1974 car (wrong headlights for '74). It's also clear that the interior is not factory. The console is custom, and a factory interior would have had matching fabric on the door panels where this has plain black vinyl or leather.
At first glance this looks like a beautiful car, however, the crappy imitation Superfly "headlights" and fake sidepipes spoil everything... Still, thumbs up for showing this unique Caddy.
back in the very early 70,s someone in my area had a 71 Eldorado in black, with the grill and hood ornament S bars on the side of the roofline and it was called a El Classico it also had some rear trunk padded detail , it actually looked better than this, not so over the top

This is beautiful! Is there a club or website for pimpmobile enthusiasts?
Bad thing is the Rot under the padded top. Its still can be saved with some work. I could tell by the paint bubbles around the edges and by the seams.
That car should have been in the movie Casino. I'm in Ft Myers area, post when you are going to any shows. I'd like to see it in person.
Clean supa clean...
That's not just ugly, it's fugly. All you had to say was that it was owned in Detroit.
Dang!!!😻
Nice mob and pimp car love it
Do you still have it? I would like to get it from you.
its a nice car but if I drove that to work they would think I was a pimp the kind of work I do bu I love the car
These pimp mobiles would show up outside of Ft. Leonard Wood on payday.
Ah Shyt a real Pimpmobile and show stopper no matter what's the year 💯✨💯
Let me go get my dobbs and stacy adams ready 😎
Weird.....thanks for posting nonetheless.
a cadillac with glasses haha the ultimate pimp car from a black guy unselleble
Are these side pipes workable is that we're the exhaust comes out
No.
The broad corduroy cloth interior was standard on the Cadillac Calais which was an entry priced Cadillac.
Its a very cool look that fits the personality of this car. Leather nor velour would fit it so well.
Hi nice car. Can you please tell me where can I purchase superfly headlights. Thanks
