If he decides to retire at the end of this season there's zero chance they don't sign him for a day and let him retire a Giant. Tbh they never should have let him go, even if he would have been a backup/utility guy for a season.

How do we expect to contend with playoff teams like the Phillies and the smurfs if we had such a hard time putting away the statistically worst team in baseball history? The only place the Giants are headed in October is the golf course. Zaidi keeps screwing the team with these bullshit contracts that offer opt outs after every year. Sign guys to 3 or 4 years (and don't trade away the ones that you do) so we can have a foundation to build a team on! How is any team supposed to have continuity when half the team from last season has moved on? Until there's continuity from one year to the next, we're gonna keep being a mediocre team at best.
