  • Glowing Axolotls glow because of a protein spliced from Jellyfish, and they can glow under blue light or black light! I used blue light in this video :)

Honestly besides the chameleon, this is the coolest animal I've ever had. I pull up a chair and watch him every night. They're so entertaining and interactive.

I’ve always wanted an axolotl, they’re without a doubt one of the cutest animals. The only thing superior are ducks : )

They are highly entertaining for sure, I pull up a chair and just watch them for half an hour every night. Their exploits are pretty funny. They're such dumb animals but they are interactive and awesome to watch TRY to eat xD. I'll detail the issues with keeping them 2 videos from now. It was a massive PITA to get them set up for sure.

I'll go over it in my next video, but yeah getting then set up was a nightmare 3 month long project, and maintaining them is stressful because they are so sensitive to water parameters. Managing 180 gallons of water with the exact levels of everything has been pretty daunting.
