Rock on out
🙏
Absolutely wonderful performance Thanks for posting this gem; got it on CD but loving the visuals New album is awesome too
I never had the privilege of meeting Ian. Guess I was too late
Get a bit of a buzz on and zone out in the dark with James McMurtry for 40 mins. Use a good pair of headphones or earbuds. I find it cathartic in spite of it being somewhat depressing. He says what others won’t.
Hell Yeah, Ian 'Mac' McLaglan was in the Faces as well. Legend.
Love this band. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome, David. 👍
@@editorjuno I agree,too
I’m remembering “3rd and Lindsley” bar and grill,Nashville, Tennessee 1980’s. James opened for DC talk
There could not have been 2 most different bands in the history of music!!!!! Who the hell booked these 2 bands together???????
I see Ronnie!!!
Love it
James McMurtry is right there with Bob Dylan, the late Fred Neil and the late great Townes Van Zandt.
James Mcmurtery one badass songerand hellish guitar man he is a chicken pickin is absolutely killer also psycho lead is killer 😅😅😮

Late comer on James music. Genius. I am so happy to find a musician that is still writing tunes about topics of such a wide variety.
It’s NEVER too late !!!!!
I hope someday somebody I think he is in a tuning I would like to know
love James since 'No More Buffalo'...onward Best Songwriter going Dylan not-withstanding ...cheers Steve Earle!!
Great performance!
What a great performance
I’ve been listening to James McMurtry for a good while but some of these songs I’ve never heard.
