- When you delete the Ruckus Airbox.. there's alot of hoses, some need to be replaced with filters, and some can be blocked off.
In the beginning of the vid is a quick overview of everything, and then I jump right into some solutions, mostly using leftover parts from the airbox delete.
sanjuro62 made a great graphic that used to be on totalruckus (rip).. it's still available here...

Block off plates for the PAIR valve are available at MNNTBX and TRS (not PasswordJDM, oops!)

HEY Allen! 1:15 is the PCV valve.
Thank you so much !!
Great video. I wish you could do the work for me. Haha. I bought it halfway through the delete.
Jim Dubya did you ever GET it going?
@@GETlife I need help to GET mine going
How can you leave the house that opens and closes the throttle needle open to air? Isn't supposed to be pressurized? My ruckus dies immediately when given throttle because the needle isn't coming up, but if I cover it with my finger it works, why? Pleas help
Bump. Same issue
nice! where does the coolant hose go?
I did same thing when I was done it was bogged
Donu have to filter the pcv?
Thank you! This video is super helpful. (Did you also rejet the carb? I'm working on a Metropolitan)
Yes!
Thanks again
By doing this how many miles per hours do you get out of it
I just run the engine idea drop stall out
Need to rejet your carb
I replaced the jets that they gave me with the set
What happens if you don’t block off the pair check valve and leave it open.
I've heard people say that it changes the a/f ratio.. I believe lean. The time I ran it open, it didn't seem to make enough difference to require a full step change in jets.. but if you're really tuning, I'm sure it's important.
Plus, you leave it open, junk could get in your engine, and it makes a really tacky popcorn sound.
@@GETlife what I did is I shaved that whole part off the motor and the small hole that came out of the bottom of the head I drilled a hole and put a threaded plug in
