- This is a video tutorial on how to make miniature polymer clay Marshmallow Peep Earrings! Also, you will learn how to dye craft sand and how to tie a simple ribbon bow using a fork!
For making it I used polymer clay (my favorite brands: Premo, Fimo, Cernit, and Sculpey), liquid polymer clay Sculpey, Fimo gel, Craft sand, Ribbon, Pastels, Glue (usually I use Gorilla glue).

Wow that was really cool making the sand colored with the pastel color sticks!
Your techniques are awesome, thank you so much for sharing, I love these!!
Thank you for your compliment!🌼🌸 I'm happy my videos are helpful!😊
😂🎉 love them!
Definitely too cute
❤
How do you prevent the pastel from coming off when touched or worn?
I’m having issues with the sand coming off after baking. Is there any way to seal it better without losing the sugar-like texture?
Hey! I recommend stippiling a varnish over top after baked/dried. Or using a spray can varnish. Any that are compatible with clay will work fine. I'd recommend a semi gloss, satin or matte, not a super glossy finish one. This keeps my sand and glitters, etc, in place 😁
So cute!
Thank you!❤
So cute!!
Thank you!🌼🌸
Que lindo!
so incredible! Love these so so much. I saw that in the beginning you put the eyepin in the charm and baked it then during the process it looked like you had pulled it out? and then in the end its back inside. Do you pull it out after you bake it initially? and then maybe apply adhesive for the final placement? Sorry if thats confusing, I just want to try and understand so I don't make mistakes. Any help you can give would be much appreciated! Thank you.
Thank you! 😉🌷 I totally understand what you are saying, it does make sense to me :). Yes, you can insert the eye pin before baking! And remove it later if needed. It was in my way while sanding the item. Later I used glue to install it permanently. I also have a video about my gluing tips and tricks. Is there a good liquid clay replacement? Or do you have to use liquid clay?
Unfortunately, I have never used any liquid clay replacements...🤷🏼♀️
How many degrees does the clay need to bake?
It depends on the clay brand. On average l bake in 265° F (130°C) , and always use separate oven thermometer.🙂
PolinaCreations thank you 😊
Where did you get the class base to sculpt on? Or I could go cheap and use a plate lol
I bought it somewhere on Etsy long time ago.. it is called "glass bevel" 🙂
