QR-Patrol is a real-time online guard tour system based on NFC and QR-code tags use. The staff scans tags placed on locations and assets and the Monitoring Center gets informed in real-time about incidents and actions. Any time a QR-code or NFC tag is scanned, the information will be sent to the web application via a cloud server and the staff will have immediate control on buildings and locations all over the world.

Is there a way to turn off gps on the phone so that qr patrol doesn’t know location
I've been in the security field for quite some time and I've always had the impression that nobody cared enough to check the patrol data. E.G., we had one patrol "stick" which had a limited amount of storage data that would fill up and stop reading until it was downloaded. I had some real lazy good for nothings on the afternoon shift. When compared with a time when there was another dedicated guard, that stick would fill up twice as fast.

So if you wanna slack off, all you need to do is duplicate the qr codes with a camera, and sit back and scan them in?
Hello Keith! "Cheating" is not an easy thing to do; every time that your employers send an event, the position (acquired by GPS, WiFi and GSM cell antennas) and respective time-stamp is also included, so you will be able to spot where they are.
Additionally, instead of QR-Code labels, you could also use NFC tags or Beacons as checkpoints, so that your employers won't be able to copy them!

Burden of proof is on the claimant. If the guard does not scan, it does not automaticaly mean that is not doing its job. Because that would mean appeal to ignorance if it is blamed for this.

I'm working for a Security Firm in Singapore. We have such Technology here and Clients are happy that such Technology exist as the Clients can view these datas.
I find the Comments here rather funny as hacking into a cloud is "more difficult" compared to breaking into your office to steal the reports.

The burden of proof is on the claimant. It is not tbe duty of a guard to control himself. The one who control the guard must do the job, not the guard who, by law must guard, not do other things. Controling people to see if they do the job, is a duty and job in itself in Romania.
