Thanks for a great piece. Many of us who are unable to be there get to share in the Burning Man experience because of you.

Awesome and very intresting to see how the Dream start from just one point in the desert ... You catched the spirit of the center of this crazy festival !

people used to take pride in their crafts, like linemen used to put their initials in those glass semi-conductors that people collect now, but they used to be used to hold up "live wires"...that NO ONE else would ever see except the other linemen who would appreciate the care and pride they had in whatever they made!

Great camera work, edit, and spending time with a art itself. I get it, been there, built art, held space. But yeah, time to organize the masses to build 10 principle villages.

Why kill so many tress that clean our air?
Just have the burning man lit with lights.

I think you're input would be better directed to the organization rather than the comment section of one artist making one video about the event. (Psssst… I'm not Burning Man) That said, fun facts… the vast majority of air contaminant emissions associated with Burning Man come from transportation to and from the event and the carbon footprint per attendee is the equivalent of a flight from SF to DC. journal.burningman.org/2018/03/black-rock-city/leaving-no-trace/burning-mans-2018-environmental-check-up/

Question? Were the initial Burning Men done with machinery or human power?

I'm trying to like this video and event SOOO much, But i just cant. How can you justify burning these structures every year? Its counterproductive, its a waste of resources, it contradicts the purpose of the event. The money and resources that are wasted is staggering. Think of third world countries that don't have a building like this as a main hospital or school. There are places in this country that don't have these buildings for basic infrastructure. Build them for every year use and have a token fire burn of a designated "thing" . This is wrong. Your personal one week mental masturbation is NOT worth this.
