I've never been there, I'll have to have a look next time I'm over Skeggy.
That ice cream looks delicious. 😋 🍦🍧🍨😊
Indeed you should and congratulations on reaching 2k subs 😀
@RaymondoLeeTravel Cheers I just noticed the 2k, had a bit of a growth spurt and gained over 100 subs in the last 2 days!! 😲😳
Always great to see you spend such quality time with the family!! There will surely be a day when your children will look back at these days and remember just how fabulous they were. Having taught teens for 25 years, these shared times seemed to always be some of the topics of sharing times.
Very interesting that you thought teenagers. What did you teach? Hopefully my children will see this in the future.

@@wendingourway ah ok very cool indeed! I always liked history!
Thank you for sharing. We love Mablethorpe as we both used to come here as children too in the 60s and 70s, and brought our own children here in the 90s. It has never really changed. We have photos from the 70s and the main street is pretty much similar now as it was then. The beach is fantastic. A great place for families. Hope your weekend is great. Best wishes to you all ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching. Yes I agree the look of the main street hasn't changed a great deal. It was a busy weekend. I think most of us that come from the Eastern side of England have enjoyed many happy holidays in the area. My son on Sunday afternoon didn't want to go home as he made friends again at Muga, and all were from the area. Always like the prices that are slightly cheaper here!
Nice walking tour 👍
Thanks my friend!
not been over to mablethorpe for a long long time..... that was a good a walk around, nice to see the old place again.....
Yeah, it's been a long time for me also. Yes, it brings back lots of memories! I was surprised how cheap all the cafes were here!
Now I’m in the mood for ice cream 🍨
Even in cold Alberta people love Ice cream!
@@RaymondoLeeTravel yes indeed 😁
Loved that. Wow those ice-creams looked amazing! 😊 32:20
Hi Anne. The Biscoff ice cream was bloomin' amazing!! They were great staff and owners also. Very helpful and gave us time to pick what we wanted
Thanks for the walk around the town, that certainly brought back memories for us. We both said how things have changed in the shops area, so many have changed since we were there 3 years ago. The Coral cafe was a favourite of ours, we were there almost every day during our walks from Seaholne Road to the town and back. Was the mini bar still there on the prom just after where the funfair is? Thanks all.
Very welcome, We didn't see any mini bar but it doesn't mean it's not in place lol Yes, it always brings back good memories for me also! Glad you enjoyed it 😃
@@RaymondoLeeTravel We had a few beers there over the time we used to go lol.
The beach at Mablethorpe is a great place for kids. I spent much of the first 12 years of my life redesigning the beach with my spade! Sadly I fell out of love with the place as I started to discover there was more to the world. I was born the year after the flood (Robert) while my parents lived in Mablethorpe as did my maternal grandparents. After a few years we moved to Nottingham but returned regularly for holidays and longer periods while my grandmother was cared for by my Mum. I went to school for several terms in Mablethorpe. I am sad though to say that I find the place a bit depressing nowadays and the fact that it seems stuck in the past less than attractive. I periodically return possibly in the hope that my attitude will change but on my most recent visit last year once more I left feeling that it might be the last visit. For me though its only saving grace is the beach which remains such a great place to wander. My good memories of the place are all there.
WOW that really is some history with Mablethorpe Robert! Mablethorpe is rather stuck in the past but unlike some other places I have visited recently its much, much better, not as busy as some places and felt safe!. I enjoyed the walk around again. The main thing is you have good memories from this area growing up!
Excellent Arcade. Thanks, now I want some Ice Cream. So what all do they do with those beach huts. Do they use them for storage or live in them during the summer.
Hi Jim and Pearl. Yes, the huts are storage for chairs. They also have water and electricity. Usually able to make a drink and sink for cleaning utensils. Basically, it's a place to use for the day for the beach. Hooe, you are both well!
@@RaymondoLeeTravel We are doing great and looking forward to summer
