Rest in a dark cool room, cold pack on the head or neck for a few minutes, drink lots of water, avoid caffeine…for medicine I use ponstan sf, and essential oil for relaxation in short white flower 😅
I cut out cheese, chocolate and coffee. It helps me. Perhaps by trial and elimination you could find out if any food or drinks trigger it for you. Like you -at its worst painkillers did not help. I was a teacher and the stress didn't help either. I still get the frequent headaches but they are more manageable now I'm older. Just as a note of caution - I did take paracetamol for years and now I have so much trouble with my kidneys.
I am also a believer who suffered from severe migraines for years: visual disturbances, nausea, dizziness, pain. Totally incapacitating. My Pastor prayed for me and Jesus set me free of migraines. That was over twenty years ago.
damn i feel you to the core. migraine attacks are the worst! back in 2021, i kinda had a similar experience same as you and when i got my eyes checked, and then upgraded my glasses (higher grade + anti-rad), it has never returned ever since. hope this helps!
I sweat by the power of human heart nature clarifying shampoo. The only thing that keeps my dandruff at bay. Also, pag finat-shame ka, pag sinabihan kang "parang tumaba ka", sagutin mo ng "parang pumangit ka" 😇.
oh no :( to be honest, I'm avoiding seeing a doctor for the reason that they might restrict coffee 🥲 nonetheless, I think I should really see one now 😔

Certain foods trigger migraines. My doctor gave me a whole list. For example she said do not drink coffee, eat garlic, etc. it was a bit extreme
