I love this series, and I love how Doug manages to take any story and link it to cooking in such creative ways, which makes it super entertaining. In other words, it’s like if you’re living in the city and there’s all these new restaurants popping up that you’ve never heard of, and Food News is like a food critic’s blog where you can learn about all the new restaurants. what they serve, and what their service is like. But suddenly, the food critic named DougDoug starts talking about the restaurants and relating it to stuff you heard about on the news the other day, so you can understand the flavor of it without even tasting the food.
I'm glad you are liking these videos as much as we do. Also, in the Apex analogy - after they starve to death and you beg for help: Apex tells you SUPER useful tips like "The oven is used to cook" and "Food is crucial to life, so get cooking!"

the black hole marketing tactic for fortnite chapter 2 was honestly genius and I cannot think of a single other big game that has done the same. incredible.

That last comparison was nice. The cooking/restaurant comparisons are still good, but they're getting close to their sell by date and aren't too far from going stale. The last one was different enough to be fresh while still being food related.
As a person who has never played Fortnite and never will, these two days of down time were really hilarious. Watching everyone go apeshit crazy about this game and how it will continue was kinda funny. Really liking this series, Doug!

It would be like if there were only one burger restaurant in the world and it's ok but the management was kind of bad. Then riot comes in and open a bunch of Macdonalds all over the world innovating the food industry with cheap burgers that everyone likes. Then 10 years later still riding the wave of being the first good and cheap burger place starts to copy every successful brand in stead of realizing that everyone who tried to copy them failed.
