Hey Tabitha, im a Michigan mom to 6 boys. We had a poultry farm in SC for almost 10 yrs, i supplied the local Tractor Supplys with babies. He looks like a roo. But i would let him be. He will guard the girls against predator birds and other animals. I had a roo lay down his life protecting a group of 15 girls from a hawk before.... Just food for thought, 4 acres is plenty for 1 roo! ❤ -Becca

So I grew up with my mom using Melaleuca company, I recognized about 80% of the products you showed. The pain stuff is great, and the bug bite stuff is good, too, if they still have it! I also remember they had some kind of shake when I was a kid that was pineapple coconut flavor, and it was SO GOOD.
Your chicken are so chill I feel like haha. My moms are always making noise and running around, she has about 10. Your property is beautiful. Excited for the fruit trees for you. Honey crisp apples are my favorite! 😊

The Tough and Tender can be used for washing fruits and veggies, Sustain has less sugar and more electrolytes then leading brands, we love their vitamins and can tell when we’ve missed taking them. I can go on and on but l I’ll stop 😊 it’s a wonderful company!!

I love melaleuca, I think they have every other month they offer the membership for 1 dollar to sign up. At least when I joined they did. I buy what I want and then cancel the subscription until I need more stuff and then I reactivate it order and cancel again.

Are those Indian runner ducks? Didn’t catch it if you said that ☺️ We have 18 runner ducks we hatched ourselves. I’m so scared to let them out of the coop knowing they aren’t like chickens and won’t put themselves to bed at night. Not sure how I’d get them all back in coop for protection at night.
Look at the chickens feet. Roosters have bigger&thicker legs/feet. Don't kill it. Let him be the daddy rooster to all the hens. Great lifecycle lesson for your homeschool kiddos. We allowed our 1 rooster to stay and now we have 15 chickens. 3 roosters and 12 hens. We've only had them for a 1½years. Great way to grow your homestead.

Hi I wanted to know why it was that you shared you didn't like Canola oil?I'm not being critical, just curious? When my mom had Open -heart surgery,the surgeon told us that olive oil,canola oil,and sunflower oil are the best oils for your heart.I googled the best oils for your heart and one of the best is Costco's Kirkland's Canola oil it comes in 2 huge bottles. The surgeon said the worst 3 oils for the heart are Palm kernel oil,coconut oil and cottonseed oil. Seed oils are high in linoleic acid. In moderation this can be fine but they sneak sees oils in everything processed so we have an abundance of this acid that’s been proven to cause excess inflammation. Chronic inflammation leads to chronic diseases for most people. There are some things we shouldn’t eat even though it’s sold as “food”. Hope this helps

If you can catch that one you think is a rooster and spread its wings you can tell that way. Just google a picture to show you wings of a hen and rooster. That’s how we did it 😊
