    Hey man I know this is an older video of yours but I just wanted to say I love the content. I’ve been watching since your first Michigan video and it’s nice to see the quality improve with every video, your videos have taught me a lot of routes and tricks I would never have learned otherwise. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your future videos!

      @TheMailman1303 I found that instead of pulling a water trailer behind, pull a smaller truck like the Zikz 5368 with a low saddle Water trailer hooked up to it. You can get a little bit more hauled per trip that way.

    Yes a new episode, thanks for the video !
    The F-750 is said to be a good scout/utility, i don't use it because in RU maps i already have the Yar 87 (TrM I tires) and the Tuz 420 and i don't have max engine (although the 2nd best engine seems quite good), maybe i'll use it in NA maps, it depends how it performs compared to the Loadstar.
    I completed Lake Kovd in a way similar to yours, small differences for ex i scanned/radar the north, the Yar 87 can tow the radar unit easily and i want 90% of the map scanned.
    My main trucks were the Tayga 6436 and the Tatra Force T815-7 that i fixed : 53'' MSH Tatra tires (like real Tatra Force), low and high saddle, improved steering, CoM centered, mass increased (+1t), improved gearbox, etc (i went to Don region after Taymyr to get the Tatra brothers)
    I don't understand why the Devs nerfed the Tatra Force from the start but it's now fixed for me and it's much more enjoyable and perform a little better than the Tayga in most situations except when agility is required, maybe i'll upload the files on my channel.
    The Force T815-7 sits nicely between heavy trucks (Tayga for ex) and super heavy trucks (Kolob for ex).
    I also use the Step 310E, but it's mostly as a fuel truck (with service trailer aka support that sits near garage) or metal detector.
    I've almost completed Imandra too. It's not that hard once you know where are the good paths : like Lake Kovd the center ice lake is the best (importance of scouting), there is a single concrete plate that link north/south and at night you can clearly see where is the breakable ice.

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  7 місяців тому +3

      Hello! 👋😊 I think the F-750 is basically useless without the top engine as it has a hard time even moving itself across the map. But we will be getting the engine soon as we travel into Imandra so that will help.
      I didn't scan any more of the Lake Kovd map because the terrain on the north side of the map is quite a bit deeper and harder to navigate for scouts, but if I were to do so I also would have used the Yar 87. It's a viable choice for the job.
      I agree the Step makes a good fuel truck with its wider rear axels, my choice to use it was based on trying to find smaller trucks to use to help with cutting through the trees to shave off distance travel.
      The Tatra Force is one to be reckoned with when adjusting xml files to make it more life like. It should have taller tires than it does so I can completely get behind your reasoning for doing so. I do love the truck and it makes a formidable fuel truck in Amur when playing hard mode as well.
      I will be pulling out the Tayga 6436 soon when it comes time to open the Imandra garage and will be utilized more after that in that map.
      Yes I agree the concrete slab bridge in the middle of Imandra is the most efficient way to traverse that map and I use it a lot.
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I enjoy hearing them. 🙂

    Excellent path on the south side of the middle river! It's been a while since I played Kovd, so it took me a bit of going between maprunner and your video to figure out your NE path, but I'm definitely gonna try using the river beach more on my next Kovd play through (Have you ever tried to tow the F750 over that shortcut mountain pass in the north? lol... What a nightmare)... But yeah, F750 definitely isn't very useful without the 45" UOD's, AWD, and het10V. Good pointer on making use of the repair points in hard mode. Thanks mate, I look forward to your next video!

    • @zorshix

      Yes! I have taken the mountain path and it's such a headache 😅. The Ford is basically useless without the top engine, it can barely pull itself along. We'll get it soon though. 👍

    Only if you have the third engine.
    If you don't have that you should still use Loadstar 1700.
    It's a problem Saber wants to perpetuate since they spend the whole time weakenning vehicles on purpose and spamming DLCs for scouts.

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  7 місяців тому +2

      I agree 100% the truck is useless without the top engine. It can barely drive itself.

    Hey man, im a new player and only about 40% through Michigan. Is the scout 800 actually decent and something i should upgrade and keep using? Also I'm in hard mode so it seems to be not worth it if this is something that tips a lot. Love the videos and music keep it up

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  7 місяців тому

      This is my opinion, that's all it is. The 800 is very tippy compared to other scouts, but if you leave the roof rack off it helps tremendously. It's very capable for a small scout and you can learn to drive it with experience. It gets more stable with the JAT Tire Pack using the wide mud tires. If you are concerned about tipping over you should always try to stay close to trees and power poles so you have something to winch back up.
      Having said all that, if you're a newer player and playing hard mode, you may want to use the CK 1500 primarily in Michigan. The 800 has a decent roof rack for repairs and can be used as a repair scout only but that's up to you. Hope this helps. 👍

  • @DillonMagreveous
    @DillonMagreveous 2 місяці тому +1

    When you use the scout 800 what is your configuration, like do you use the raised suspension and the biggest tires because even with the hat tires I find myself tipping more than expected so I’m considering not throwing on the biggest tires or dropping the suspension

    • @zorshix
      @zorshix  2 місяці тому

      Well I do use the raised and biggest tires but it is a lot tippier. I also have a lot of experience driving it to learn it's nuances (although it still gets me sometimes).
      You can install the mid sized tires without the raised and that helps a lot, but the best thing to do is leave the roof rack off unless you absolutely need it. The roof rack is the source of most of it's top heavy weight and it's quite fun to drive without it.
