Another use for these is to have missiles with guns attached to be like auto fighter it works very well
You could narrow the cone of fire and make an auto aim AC130 gunship and do an air to ground hunt like previous videos. I wonder if the eyepiece has to be mounted on the tracking turret, or can it be mounted elsewhere on the plane?
I’m pretty sure the eye is basically the invisible cross hair and that cross hair coming from the eye is what lines up with the center so if you had it at the back of the plane then when you fired it would be way behind the target

You should make a battle where you have to build small autonomous turrets on large planes and fly around and fight to see who can build the best turret
You should make a flying aircraft carrier next
He already did unless scrapman built it
You should’ve used this on the big plane from the fighters vs op bomber vid
Now make "autonomous" drones that will try to kill or defend from the player. They don't need to really fly for themselves but only sustain a non supervised flight
I reckon this could be used to make a freighter with deployable microfighters to defend yourself with!

Basically a two team Battle one team in one airplane and four separate airplanes and then reverse it
I feel like these have some neat potential for the overpowered series. I do get that it's a modded feature though, so not including this is fair enough.
How do we get that distance sensor so we can experiment with it?

You should put it on a tank and have it launch missiles like an ATGM(anti tank guided missile) or put a missile styled like a cruise missile and launch it at some tanks. Preferably an SU-57 with one cruise missile on each wing like AC7
You should do a 2v2 dogfight with actual tracking misiles using the mod but make the misiles slower then the plane
I think it would be a good idea to make a b-17 Flying Fortress with working turrets
I think you should recreate a b17 and b17 using this to imitate plane crew just a fun little idea
U could make a giant flying wing plane that has turrets to defend it but instead of guns they could fire missiles
Video 99 of asking Yzuei to build a Ranger from Interstellar and put it on the workshop. If you want to you can built the Endurance ship too.
You should make one on the underside on a plane which could use rockets for ground strike so it’d auto attack
to be honest the sensors seem more like a liability than an asset here, i think the defenses would be more effective if the firing was player-controled

The missile MOD is
Who agrees that they should add way more weapons such as locking missiles for ground air or naval, flares, thin wing blocks as well as thin blocks that would be 1/2 a block thick and also one other thing would be improved bombs such as bigger explosion radius from custom bombs, bigger smoke clouds and maybe warheads. The last thing would be underwing hard points to hold missiles and bombs.
just a quick note: SELF-SHOOTING Turrets! sounds like you shoot yourself, how about AUTO TURRETS! instead?
