ABOUT SUPERSTORE
America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy "Superstore," about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. "Superstore" centers around Amy (Ferrera), who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn't have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett (Colton Dunn), the sweet and clueless Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom), and the perpetually dismissed Sandra (Kaliko Kauahi). Also on the team are Glenn (Mark McKinney), who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina (Lauren Ash), the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo (Nico Santos) was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

The casting directors deserve a pay raise. Every character, even side characters, are played so well. You may not like the character, but it's hard to knock any actor's portrayal.
I disliked Mateo but by the time he was on the bus getting deported I was ugly crying. I think he had the most growth as a person.

the actress who plays Justine is just absolutely brilliant at playing…. well.. Justine
My fav scene of this show is the tornado one. Everyone is traumatized but they don’t have a manual to console them so Glen grabs the ‘active shooter’ manual and tries to wing it. “Some people may be afraid a tornado moght be waiting for them in the parking lot…”

It's almost like brilliant writing was a huge reason for this show's success. Hmmm...too bad there's never been a show where the background extras really shone... (extreme sarcasm, this show proves why both writers and background actors are in the right)

In season 4 he’s apprehended by ICE for being undocumented, he’s not gone for long and most of his storylines that season revolve around this predicament.

Holocaust joke does not really deserve anything. I get that the joke was mocking the characters' ignorance but it's still a bit too much. So doesn't joke about Sandra's fertility issues which was just dumb as there wasn't even play of words or anything...
