Love seeing a review of all mountain skis actually being used all over the mountain, fantastic stuff! With the softer tips is there any vibration or disturbance at high speeds? I like quiet tips.
@@lorenroot7667 Saw that write up. Went for it! +1 and super happy with em. 4 days so far here in Oregon (2 Bachelor, 2 Meadows). 2 days were 2-4” and no issues smashing fresh. Other days were packed/firm and having a blast railing turns and flipping 180’s, even made a 3 around one day. I was worried 184 (5’11”, 170lbs), but no problems. They’re heavy to carry from the truck to the lift, then they feel quick, damp, and solid…. Rockets! Highly recommend. Other skis in recent years: ON3P Jeffrey 108, ON3P BG, Salomon QST106, Rossignol Super7, Dynastar Legend.

@@chrisful7701 Well for one, that Blister review gave me the idea. Second, I like the quick pivot, sporty, feel of more center mounted skis. Seems easier to release tails in bumps, and generally more agile when screwing around on firmer snow days, flipping 180’s, attempting 3’s, popping off stuff. Same time I hate flimsy park skis, and I love the stout layup of the new MB - they totally rip when I point them, and feel very stable. I need that stability when I’m chasing my ski-racer brother-in-law all over Bachelor! Lol. Probably wouldn’t have gone forward from factory rec if they were my only skis and I needed float, but I have wider, more directional skis for fresh days. Also have ON3P Jeffery 108s and Billy Goat 116’s. Love the way the Jeffery’s ski (very forward mount), but 108 a bit much for firm snow trickery and shenanigans, and/or skiing w my kiddo. 99 is a great low-tide ski for Oregon. I admit I was hesitant, but called K2 around the time I was having them mounted to chat and ask if any concerns? Dude was surprisingly encouraging and seemed onboard with my reasoning. Like I said, super fun days on them so far, feel very intuitive and chargy, and no regrets. 1cm pretty minor in the scheme anyway... Can’t wait to get back on them - been knee deep here the lately so on the powder boards! Next week looks like starts shifting to spring conditions.

I'm 175cm int-advanced. what length would you recommend will be the best for me?
Did you guys mount on the line? Anyone try 1cm forward?
