John Billings well I’ll say this. I’ve never been a huge fan of the guy but since the Covid Crisis has started I’ve been watching his daily briefing and it gives me comfort. He is going above and beyond to save NY lives. He’s even pressuring the Federal Gov’t for dragging their feet with support. In this dire time a see a man stepping up and using what he’s learned to save as many as possible. Once the dust is settled (hopefully sooner rather than later with Covid-19) people will remember Cuomo. He’s America’s Governor at this point and most see him as the best fit of the current crop to run the country. He’s is not perfect but the best of what we have available. Additionally the Democratic Party tried to get his dad to run for president twice but he declined. Mario Cuomo was a legend but could have become an icon had he decided to run. His son won’t make the same mistake especially with his popularity at an all time high. I expect him to run for a 4th term of Governor then run for president in 2024

Unfortunately it's not a question of strength. This virus is randomly super aggressive even to healthy people. He has a good chance to be ok and to not have any consequence (like the loss of taste is one of these). Let's hope yes.

Some folks, and the poster you are addressing may be one, can hear a broadcaster without needing his bakstory. Is AM Joy married? Are Chris Wallace's parents still alive? Is Sean Hannity really the spawn of a she-devil and a vampire? Just for myself, don't know, don't care. Also, there are some folks who get news visually only occasionally, preferring to get it mostly by reading newspapers. Don't mean to oversell the point, but I dont' think you really needed to tell the poster that her ignorance is quite as SHOCKING as you do.

I’m a republican and don’t agree with some of the decisions Cuomo has made, but I will say he’s really stepped up to the plate and has taken care of his state since the outbreak. I can also appreciate this particular interview because anyone with a sibling can relate to this banter back and forth. However, I can also see how some think this “interview” was more personal than what it was supposed to be. Either way, I enjoyed it.
