It all started 5 years ago with Crab Rave and to see it all come together in a beautiful full circle really is mind blowing. Can’t wait for the soundtrack to be released so I can meme out even harder

Crab champions is such a fun game to play with friends bec its a game where you can focus on the game while being able to have a fun talk with your friends such a lovely game

i think its funny that he made nightmare challenging enough that even him the dev and the one who made the game struggle to beat it. he basically made a game for him to enjoy and to also share with us. rare indie game w tbh when the dev also plays the game with their community.
the game looks great but I don't think that it's necessarily that hard to make a game that you can't even beat as the creator. think rhythm games
Some players are crazy, they play way better than the devs.
I already beat nightmare mode, it's about getting the right builds

Not only does he solo made this game, he's really good at it.
Right up there with risk of rain 2 as my favourite roguelite games.
Only real issue I've had with the game so far is fps issues, but my pc is almost a decade old at this point so I guess it's to be expected.
But I digress, it's amazing you've managed to make such an exceptionally polished and GOOD game entirely by yourself. Well done Mr. Noisestorm

Suggestion: since the main game mode is moving through islands and killing crabs till infinity I think it’d be better to add later such an interactive gameplay with other people (other than CO-OP). For example; duels, where you fight against others and the map changes for each rounds, number of rounds is up to 10 per game.
I think battle Royale would be a great idea even though it’s used, maybe a map enough for 20-40 crabs with beautiful landscapes,Biomes and atmosphere. The shield idea in the trailer was so good it’s a must to have in this game because I don’t want to dodge and run from bosses all the time, a bit of self defense is needed.
The game is still in early access so it’d be good to suggest ideas every now and then, I wish if there’s an other way to suggest ideas other than discord, some people are serious and want to offer free unique ideas that will improve the game but their suggestions are hidden gems covered with tons of unnecessary comments.
Duels was an idea Noisestorm already thought about, in fact there is a trailer about that. There are plans to add some pvp modes, but duels were scratched at least for the launch. On the other hand, the shield idea would ruin the fast pace game by giving the player a rather static tactic, that's why it was scratched as well.
this is just early access and more stuff similar to that will probably be coming

I've been playing it on the steam deck. It runs flawlessly but the game is punishingly difficult with a default control scheme. Gonna do some tinkering and digging around the forums...
Despite my shortcomings I'm having a great time! Looking forward to updates
