This is a really, really, really, really old james blake song that went unreleased. It was on his 2011 bbc residency. Its not new at all. I remember it - and love it :D
Check out Turner's new edit of this track :) "James Blake - The Evening Fell Hard For Us (Turner's Cella Version)" Samples the vocal and layers it with a deep techno track
I have a feeling that this will be the 20 minute song and the next half will be ridiculous and probably be the highlight of his album tour. Or I could be way off
Kind of makes me think of a vocal version of some thing like Bladelores by Autechre, just with less variation. I really like this track and its great just to hear something so simple not be afraid to push 8+ minutes. Can see that it's not for everyone, though.
Was 8:35 minutes really necessary?? It was repetitive in 2011 and even more so now. I gave it a full listen thinking it was going to break and go somewhere. I hope this track doesn't find its way on the album and take up a slot on the record. This is an old track that I thought was worked on, but it hasn't been. Personally I think this track would be unnecessary filler. I would purposely delete this track from my itunes after buying it to save me having to skip over it.
+KphexTwin00 its disappointing having to write such comments. But at-least I gave an opinion instead of sayings its "shit" or "Terrible" . Its neither of those. Its just not for me.
Nah man, this track needs to be way shorter and its like one of those tracks you listen to all dabbed out of your mind and think its great and you go to listen to it with your friends and you're like "oh wait, never mind."

+same vans Yess this blew me away back then, that slight jazz influence
This song has a huge resemblance to Lullaby for my Insomniac.
it definitely is an early version of Lullaby for my Insomniac. No doubt
From what we've heard his next album is gonna be incredible
Like, bro.... WEHRS TEH FUCKIN DROP
This is so good. Magical.
Sounds very old james blake's productions.
i actually like this, you can interprent it as a statement against all the super complex and "fast" music nowadays. or you can not... haha
yes. hypnotic. great stuff
love
+Moskalus your pic made me think, a lot of the music in Adventure Time is similar to James Blake's music, esp songs like Finn's Space song....

Personally I think this needs a Burial style bass and beat over it
This is my personal opinion you're free to agree/disagree have a nice day people :)
+Autogen You can be sure it'll get that treatment from this re-release, and if not I'll try my very best to take on the challenge :')
NoToTheYayo Ah nice to hear, where'd you find that out from? And would love to hear your take on it
Well this is his older stuff from 2011, so his new style obviously is more improved
+Lucy B his older stuff is much better
+sound man in your opinion sure
..honestly, honest to the Music lovers of this Anu-Age."👏
does anyone know what he's saying? love this song btw! 😍😍😍
Lyrics, pls
This sounds better than the 2011 mix. Somehow.
Very relaxing. But could be a little shorter.
Does anyone know what is the music appearing at the end?
+jacek Melancholia VI by William Basinski, Mount Kimbie sampled it on 'Williiam", too!
+unlost Thank you so much! I knew I knew the sound, but haven't listened to Basinski for few weeks and simply forgot.
Hide from Ben.
+Keith Legend Hi from Beth.
🤣

Does anyone know what genre this is :o ? I really like this one
IDM (intelligent dance music)
Listen to his album CMYK
+nabeel box It's a mix of art pop, future garage, and ambient pop.
+Ed Harding this is not even close to IDM. Nacirema is spot on
+nabeel box dont ask this question cause it will simply elicit a heated debate lmao
James Blake can do a lot better than this
I like James a lot but this is really bad
+Mickalo I'm wondering why this is even featured here... not even any bass.
+Mickalo +MakinaDeMuerte WORD
+Mickalo Too bad you can't appreciate the genius that is Blizz.
